The Real Jesus

Posted Jun 26th, 12:00 by Francis Frangipane Ministries on Christian Living

The Real Jesus
Get used to the idea that Jesus is seeking to perfect your faith (Heb. 12:2). Sooner or later, the real Jesus will require you to look straight in the eye of the impossible and believe God for His power.
Consider when the Lord sent His disciples to cross the Sea of Galilee. Later that night, Jesus comes to them walking on water (see Matt. 14:22-33). Contrary winds are causing the sea to churn with turbulent swells. Of course, Jesus...

Difficult Times

Difficult Times
We know these are difficult times, yet as followers of Christ we were born for times like these! When darkness covers the earth, that's our cue to rise and shine (Isa. 60)!
For those of you that are praying about taking In Christ's Image Training, let me personally encourage you to not be timid. Go ahead and step out in faith. God is reaching to your family and friends. This is an important time, and your advancement into focused training...

Attract the Pleasure of God

Posted Jun 22nd, 12:00 by Francis Frangipane Ministries on Christian Living

There are qualities of heart that actually attract the pleasure of God. If we possess unoffendable faith in our pursuit of Christ's likeness; if we walk humbly with our God; if we position ourselves in the intercessor's gap; and if we abide in Christ-centered unity with the local body of Christ -- we will attract the pleasure of God, and when we awaken His pleasure, His power soon follows.
Sign up today for our next In Christ's Image Training course starting...

Forgiveness and the Future of Your City

Forgiveness and the Future
of Your City
When I look at the conditions of our world -- the deep racial and political divisions, immigration problems, terror threats, national debt wars, and lawlessness in our cities -- a deep foreboding comes over my soul. As Christians, we all believe the call of 2 Chronicles 7:14 offers hope, but what if there is no response to the call to humble ourselves and pray? Is there anything we can do to restore hope and stability?
There...

Pardon for an Unrepentant People

Pardon for an Unrepentant People
According to Your Word
Moses sent twelve spies to Canaan to bring back a report of the land. When they returned, ten said that, though the land was good, Israel would surely be defeated by the inhabitants. Although Joshua and Caleb argued that Israel certainly could drive out their enemies, the people moaned, complained, and rebelled, even seeking to stone Joshua and Caleb and return with new leaders to Egypt. And again, the anger of the Lord...

Standing After the Storm

Standing After the Storm
"If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?" (Ps. 11:3)
Just as there are foundations that are dug and laid for buildings, so there are spiritual foundations upon which we can build a strong and unshakeable spiritual life. But if we compromise the standards of our foundation, to that degree we compromise our ability to stand during life's storms.
I've known people who could prophesy or pray for the sick or sing beautifully in church, but inwardly...

Urgent Prayer Request

Posted Jun 1st, 12:00 by Francis Frangipane Ministries on Christian Living

June 1, 2020
Dear Friends,
I would like to ask for extra prayer covering for myself, my staff and our families. This last week has been tough.
After a long and painful fight against cancer, Gabriela, our ICIT Spanish administrator passed away last week. Please pray for her family. Then yesterday, Sherry, our bookkeeper, fell and landed on her face.
Please remember to keep us in prayer for safety and for a quick healing for Sherry.
With every blessing,

Seems like its getting just dark enough for a world wide awakening. Don't just pray, believe!

Posted Jun 1st, 12:00 by Francis Frangipane Ministries on Christian Living

June 1, 2020
Dear Friends,
We also need to pray for the riots to end, in our larger cities. Minneapolis and other large cities have been hit very hard by those wanting to cause unrest. While we need to pray for injustice to end we also need for peace to prevail. Pray that God would bring conviction upon those causing the violence to end, and especially that they would find the peace of Christ during this time.
With every blessing,

Love Me Where You're At

Love Me Where You're At
(En Español)
I have discovered that, as we seek the Lord, our most difficult periods can be transformed into wonderful breakthroughs into God's love. For me one such season occurred during the years 1979 to1981. The association of churches with which I was aligned had fallen under spiritual deception. Not only were its core doctrines increasingly seeded with New Age influences, but also immorality crept in, and key leaders began leaving their wives for other women. I...

May 27, 2020
Dear Friends,
As many of you know, Gabriela, our ICIT Spanish Administrator, was diagnosed with cancer almost three years ago. With great sadness we want you to know that Gabriela went to be with the Lord yesterday.
She leaves behind her husband Marcelo, son Patricio and his wife, daughters Maria and Sofia and granddaughter Gabriella, who was born last fall.
Thank you for continuing to hold Gabriela's family before the Lord as they walk through this season of...

Unoffendable, Part 3

Posted May 22nd, 12:00 by Francis Frangipane Ministries on Christian Living

Unoffendable, Part 3
Unrealistic Expectations
The unrealistic expectations we sometimes put on others will, at some point, cause people to fall short and offend us. For instance, I know married couples that expect their spouse will meet their every need -- and yes, they will meet some of our needs. However, at the deepest level, our souls were created to find security in God, not man. As we put our confidence in God, we can live more comfortably with the people...

Unoffendable, Part 2

Unoffendable Part 2
In our last teaching we looked at offenses and examined the lethal effect an offended spirit could have upon our lives. We discussed how the only way to not be permanently offended was to attain the unoffendable heart of Jesus Christ.
Attaining Christ's heart is not a minor issue. Remember, Jesus warned that in the last days "many" would be offended.
A wounded spirit is not the same thing as an offended spirit. We may have experienced a cutting...

Unoffendable

Unoffendable
"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh" (Ezek. 36:26).
God has a new heart for us that cannot be offended, an "unoffendable" heart. Beloved, possessing an unoffendable heart is not an option or a luxury; it's not a little thing. An offended heart is endanger of becoming a "heart of stone."
Consider: Jesus warns that,...

Beware of the Stronghold of Cold Love

Posted May 1st, 12:00 by Francis Frangipane Ministries on Christian Living

Beware of the Stronghold of Cold Love
Is your love growing softer, brighter and more visible? Or is it becoming more discriminating, more calculating, less vulnerable and less available? This is a very important issue, for your Christianity is only as real as your love. A measurable decrease in your ability to love is evidence that a stronghold of cold love is developing within you.
Jesus warned of our era. He said, "Many will fall away and will betray one another and...
