The High Places, God will Bring Down

Posted Feb 11th 2010, 02:24 by Greater Christianity on Church & Ministry

The words of this simple song is resonating in my spirit. Know that every high place in your life that needs to come down, God said he would bring down. Enjoy and live in excellence. Evangelist Ladia T. Jones

I will make the darkness light before thee
Whatever is wrong I'll make it right before thee
All your battles I will fight before thee
And the high places I'll bring down
CHORUS
When thou walkest by the way, I'll lead thee
On the fatness of the land,...

The purpose of recovery is to bring you back in the original position before you were injured, or hurt.

Solution to New Year

Posted Jan 1st 2010, 01:20 by Greater Christianity on Church & Ministry

How are those New Year Resolutions coming?  I am excited about the New Year but I am excited about every moment of life because there is always an opportunity to do better, be better and speak better. The clichés start even before the New Year arrives.
It’s great to desire change but in your quest to change, your goal and steps necessary must be realistic. Remember what you want to change did not take place overnight therefore depending on what you’re changing...

If it

Posted Jan 1st 2010, 01:16 by Greater Christianity on Church & Ministry

Sometime ago I attended a Christian Financial workshop dealing with the new laws and requirements for churches and their record keeping procedures. The speaker was very proficient and extremely knowledgeable in church administration. During the workshop one of the pastors asked the true importance of precise and adequate written record keeping and the potential penalty and problems that could arise for not having them. The speaker’s response was very profound. She said, “Pastors, according to the law, if it is...

Live for the moment

Posted Dec 8th 2009, 07:12 by Greater Christianity on Church & Ministry

Everyday when we wake up in the morning and we have the activity and use of our limbs we are blessed. Even those who are physically limited and are not able to do as much as others are blessed. Life is a blessing and today, this moment, is a gift from God. I think the wise man Solomon described it best in Ecclesiastes 9:4 "For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living...

Be thankful for all things
I love holidays, I really do. The holiday season seems to bring the best out of most people. It would be fantastic and a true blessing if the essence of family, joy and togetherness manifested at this time could be accomplished throughout the year. I believe it can if only we understood the spirit of the season.
This week we celebrate "Thanksgiving." A day of family, food and fellowship but what does it really...

Posted Nov 9th 2009, 12:06 by Greater Christianity on Church & Ministry

I must admit, I really like the social networking groups on the Internet, especially Facebook. Not to promote one group over another, but I use Facebook everyday, not just for giving and receiving motivational messages but to connect with old friends and make new ones.

I have had a Facebook page for many years but since no one I knew was on it, I didn’t use it very much. It was only after my pastor and several church members...
