Dear Friends:
The Baltimore Region lost one its pioneer this week with the home-going of Pastor Levi Rice.  Levi & Eleanor Rice
were dear friends of mine for over thirty years.  Their passion for the lost was unsurpassed by any of my comtempories.
They were on the streets of Baltimore before many who receive this e-mail were born.  Highlandtown, Patterson Park,
Sandtown and surrounding areas were impacted at they preached the Gospel for over forty years.  After the home-going

Concerning the funeral arrangements for Levi Rice they are as follows: 
They will all take place at Eastern A/G on Wise Ave.
Viewing from 1:00pm to 9:00pm on Monday, September 18rh
Funeral is at 10:00am on Tuesday, September 19th.
Internment: Garden of Faith

Just a friendly reminder about our first Pastor's Growth session for the year.  This is it!
Just a reminder of our Refugee Information Luncheon next Thursday, Sept 7, 12 noon, at Highland Community Church.  Our presbyters/pastors will be with us and 4 staff members from NCC in Washington.
We will share good fellowship and food, hear about the NCC Family Mentorship program with refugee families, and visit the Salaam Center.

Therefore, her cardiologist scheduled her for a heart catheterization next Wednesday

Gavin Brown

Another Saint has been added to the Baltimore Region.  Yesterday Gavin Brown was "chosen" to be the lead
pastor of Lifehouse church in Laurel, Md.  Gavin and Shekinah are not strangers to our Region having previously
