I believe that what self-centered men have torn down, men other-centered can build up. I still believe that one...

Urgent Prayer Alert for Kenya part 3
Posted Jan 9th 2008, 02:19 by AOAACF/AOFNews on Evangelism/Missions
Hello Everyone
Check this site: http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2007/news/kenya.violence/
As the crisis in Kenya continues, we pray that you will not become numb to it. If any of you have seen the movies, “Hotel Rwanda’” or “Sometime in April,” you are familiar with how quickly one of these nations can slip into chaos and genocide, and how equally quickly the rest of the world can turn a deaf ear. Jesus’ words still ring true, that “to him who knows to do right, and...

Going Home Celebration for Valerie
Posted Jan 3rd 2008, 03:22 by AOAACF/AOFNews on Evangelism/Missions
The measure of a life well-lived is not measured in the length of years.
It is not measured in the accumulation of material goods.
It is measured in the numbers of people our lives have impacted for eternity.
"Princess" Valerie Rich Dixon surely lived well. Those of us who knew her have been beneficiaries of her infectious laugh,
her passionate love for her Savior that wanted to include everyone she touched, and the wisdom principles...

Wasted Talents
Posted Dec 14th 2007, 10:57 by AOAACF/AOFNews on Evangelism/Missions
This is not an original from me. I find it wonderfully enlightening.
Wasted Talents
God gave African American people 500 billion talents.
He gave Hispanic people 35 billion talents.
He gave Asian people 225 billion talents.
He left us alone for one year, and then returned to see what we had
done with our talents.
God asked the Asian people, "What have you done with your resources?"
The Asians replied, "We created many businesses and purchased many
franchises. We used our resources to assist our families and our...

A message from Dr. Johnson
Posted Nov 11th 2007, 02:37 by AOAACF/AOFNews on Evangelism/Missions
I don’t even like you!
There are a lot of people I don’t even like. The amazing thing is that God loves them, even though I don’t like them. I guess that is something I never have been able to reconcile in my own mind. How could God love people to whom I am indifferent and for whom I have not even a passing concern about their welfare?
When I survey this whole selfish attitude on my part, I come...
