Have you ever wondered what it means to be a Christian, really considered what it entails, could you recognize one if you saw one? Better yet is the risen Christ formed in you? When you look in the mirror, go about your daily tasks, mingle with other people, do you portray Christ? You know the old saying " If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, then it must be a duck!"
Let us look at some...

I. Who are you? The Word of God says in part, "for as he thinks in his heart, so is he;" - Proverbs 23:7. So in light of this verse you are who you think you are.
Years ago man did not think that they could break the 4-minute mile mark running, until one day in 1954 a man by the name of by Roger Bannister did it in 3'59.4". The 'four minute barrier' has since been broken by many male athletes,...

False Theories of our Life

Posted Oct 17th 2009, 03:30 by Ambassadors For Christ on General Interest

I. There is the epicurean or pleasure theory: " Let us eat and drink, for tommorrow we die." Let us see how this creed narrows down our life to a very point, stripping it of all that is distinctive and elevating, both in range and duration, and shutting us up within the miserable limits of time and sense. (1) It takes all soul out of life. For the soul is its enemy, and a regard for its interests would be...

There is a lot to be said about having faith in God. Jesus taught much on having faith in God during His days of ministry in a human body. But their is one interesting statement He had in regards to faith in God and that is found in Luke chapter 18 verse 8 where Jesus says in part, "... Nevertheless when the Son of man (ie - Jesus) comes, shall he find FAITH on the earth?" Many of us here...

"The old cross would have no truck with the world. For Adam’s proud flesh it meant the end of the journey. It carried into effect the sentence imposed by the law of Sinai. The new cross is not opposed to the human race; rather, it is a friendly pal and, if understood aright, it is the source...

Who has the power?

Posted Oct 20th 2008, 05:12 by Ambassadors For Christ on General Interest

Beloved brethren, it is clear in the Word of God that we have been made to be in right standing with God. This is available to us because of what Christ Jesus our Lord has accomplished for us at the Cross. But He also broke the power of sin in our lives and has given us the power to be free of habitial sins.
As seen in Matthew chapter 1 verse 21, 'And she shall bear a son, and you...

What is Fellowship? Is it gathering together and singing, preaching, talking, eating, etc.? It could be if our hearts are right. But more often then not, we fail to search our hearts when we come together to fellowship with God and one another. In this state of scisms, even though not apparent from outward appearances, the Spirit of God can not move freely due to the condition of our gathering. If we have issues with a brother and sister, we...

Your Words, your dreams, and your thoughts have the power to create conditions in your life.
What you speak about, you can bring about.
If you keep saying you can't stand your job, you might lose your job. If you keep saying you can't stand your body, your body can become sick.
If you keep saying you can't stand your car, your car could be stolen or just stop operating.
If you keep saying you're broke, guess what? You'll always be broke.
If you keep...

I was worshiping with friends in the prayer room of the church I worship in every other Friday evening.  The presence of the Holy Spirit was very strong and I was convicted of some repenting I needed to do.  While on my face, praying softly in tongues, the vision began…
I saw a huge football stadium filled with spectators.  There wasn’t an empty seat in the stadium.  The sky...

Abortions & Sinking Ships
by Lyle McTeer
Two visions that were recently received have great meaning as our loving Father continues to speak to us about the many fronts that lie ahead, so that we can overcome!
The first that I recently wrote about was a vision concerning “Ravens Pecking Out The Eyes Of The Saints”. This vision is now becoming much more intense as Satan is on an all out attack against what is planned to be birthed by removing sight!
In this...

Jesus is looking for the true worshippers of the Father. In the gospels it is of note when Jesus came to a well in Samaria, He met a Samaritan Woman and the discourse was about water and thirsting. And it took a turn later in the conversation about TRUE WORSHIPPER's.
Are you one? Are we worshipping as JESUS implied we ought to? The specific scripture is this:
John 4:20-24
Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, and you say that in Jerusalem...

Galatians 6:7-10:
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all...

I want to see the manifested glory of God, how about you?

Posted Apr 25th 2007, 05:43 by Ambassadors For Christ on General Interest

I want to see the manifested glory of God, how about you?
The Word of God in John 11:40 states:
Jesus saith unto her,"Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?"
This is an amazing statement by our Lord Jesus. The account here is the discourse that Jesus had with Mary at the location of Lazarus's tomb. It was in regards to Lazarus being raised back to life. The manifested glory of God!!! Jesus...
