Much shock is being expressed on Christian forums by those who
have known Todd Bentley or who have attended his meetings, or who at least are aware
of his ministry. I think that much of the initial response regarding the
disclosure of his marital difficulties has been framed by the shock we have
experienced in learning of the apparent failures of the Bentley marriage.

is so much noise and activity coming out of Lakeland, Florida this Spring, that
it would be hard to find a part of the earth that has not heard about what is
being called the outpouring.  There is much excitement about the prospect
of revival breaking out that will flood the United States and the earth with

Todd Bentley, who has led nonstop revival meetings in Lakeland, Fla., since
April 2, is separating from his wife, Shonnah, due to “significant
