Give Someone A Fish...

Posted Yesterday, 12:00 by Dancing For Him Ministries, Inc. on Worship

There is an old expression, something like, 'You can give someone a fish and they will eat for a day, but if you teach someone how to fish, they can eat for a lifetime.'
I'm sure most of you who have acquired a collection of Dancing For Him DVD's, you know that there is a wealth of information and there are many concepts that will help you tap into your God given creativity. From there, you will have countless ideas and...

God's Work Ministry Inspirational and Encouragement E-Mail
Dear Friend,
We should always allow ourselves to learn the lessons that life brings our way.  Through our ups and downs, our good days and bad days, our laughter and our tears, we experience life in a profound way.  We learn things that we did not know before and if we allow ourselves to, we can become better, wiser and stronger after we experience the negative situations than we were before them.  I know that...

Do Not Forget the Commandment of God (Proverbs 6:20-23)

Posted Yesterday, 12:00 by Sumner Wemps Spiritual Encouragement & Motivation on Christian Living

Today, many people talk about the fact that we are free from the law and that is true. The only way a person can get to Heaven is by putting their faith and trust in what Jesus Christ did for us. He suffered, died, and paid the penalty of our sin in our place. He rose from the dead and was seen by hundreds of people. The only way you can get to Heaven is by calling on Him and...

“Blessed are the merciful. For they shall obtain mercy” [Matthew 5:7]
Many years ago a Methodist minister taught me that repentance is a lifestyle.  In other words a continuous way of living, a constant turning to God as the answer.  Through this truth I learned repentance was not just an event, but an experience that changes the attitude.  With this as a basis, every principle of kingdom living has unfolded and developed deeper understanding of the ways and wisdom...

Devotion: What is good

Posted Yesterday, 12:00 by A Thought for the Day on Teaching/Education

“Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein. We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle. For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp. Wherefore Jesus also,...
