Be Prepared to Uproot - REPOST FROM MARCH 2002  L. Lyonsis
This is a re-post from 2002.  This reality is fast approaching, and applicable for this day.
"Now the leaders of the people dwelt at Jerusalem, the rest of the people cast lots to bring one out of ten to dwell in Jerusalem, the holy city, and nine-tenths were to dwell in other cities".  (Neh 11:1)
The book of Nehemiah has become quickened to me as a blueprint for what God...

When to NOT Love Your Neighbor, And Just Who is Your Neighbor?

Posted Sep 27th 2015, 12:00 by Adventures In Faith on Prophetic

When to NOT Love Your Neighbor, And Just Who is Your Neighbor?  9.27.2015  L. Lyons

“He does not love the neighbor who bears such hatred to him that he would kill him; he does not love the neighbor who would commit adultery with another’s wife; he does not love the neighbor who would steal and rob him of his goods; he does not love the neighbor who would testify falsely against him, and so on. These are the evils which those that look to the Lord especially shun. And then they have no fear of death, for if they die they die in the Lor rd, and go to heaven; and there all love each other as brothers and companions, and render mutual good services”. Emanuel Swedenborg (“Posthumous Works” pg. 263).
Does this statement go against the precept that we should love our enemies?. We should first look at who our neighbor is;
Neighbour G4139 πλησίον plēsion play-see'-on
Neuter of a derivative of πέλας pelas (near); (adverb) close by; as noun, a neighbor, that is, fellow (as man, countryman, Christian or friend): - near, neighbour. (Strong’s Dictionary).
So practically speaking, this refers to someone “near or close by” to us.  As the Lord commanded; “And the second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself”.  (Mat 22:39)

In the highest sense, “love to the neighbor”, would refer to our Christian brethren.  Because our God and Lord is also the good contained within them; “Love each other in a way that makes you feel close like brothers and sisters. And give each other more honor than you give yourself” (Rom 12:10 ERV).  This “love of neighbor” would continue to flow in regards to family, friends, community and country.

But what about the statement “He does not love the neighbor who..”?.  Or essentially those who do immense evil or harm to us and others?  I think the answer is found in the following Scripture;

“I, wisdom, dwell with sense, and find out knowledge of discretions. The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil; I hate pride, and arrogance, and the evil way, and the wicked mouth”. MKJ (Pro 8:12-13)
“I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions. The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate”. KJV (Pro 8:12-13)
“I am Wisdom. I live with Good Judgment. I am at home with Knowledge and Planning. To respect the LORD means to hate evil. I hate pride and boasting, evil lives and hurtful words”. ERV (Pro 8:12-13)

V. 12, KJV gives the word “prudence” or discretion in practical affairs.  Wisdom dwells with “prudence”, they are inseparable.  “For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it”. (Pro 8:11).  Therefore in all matters, the follower is advised to be wise and use better discretion.  Because the second part of v 12 says “..find out knowledge of witty inventions”.  This basically means wicked intentions or wicked devices.   ;Wisdom sees them, and exposes them for what they really are.  Then prudence guides and directs us in the right response and direction.

In v 13, it says “The fear of the LORD is to hate evil:”.  Since our Lord hates these behaviors, we are commanded to be in the same frame of mind.  This is essentially why the Canaanites were expelled from the land.  So the statement “He does not love the neighbor who..” is correct.  We should not love the neighbor who commits grievous sins.

Perhaps many will site this Scripture; “But I say to you, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you and persecute you”,  (Mat 5:44)

An accurate description of love to enemy; ”But I say unto you, Love your enemies — The word here used denotes moral love, as distinguished from the other word, which expresses personal affection. Usually, the former denotes “complacency in the character” of the person loved; but here it denotes the benignant, compassionate outgoings of desire for another’s good. (Matthew 5:44 - Jamieson, Fausset, & Brown Commentary).

So in moral love, according to kingdom principles, we are to “bless” and “pray for” the enemy.  Not to have revenge and hatred in our heart toward those who do evil toward us, because our heavenly Father still loves them.

The Overcomer

Posted Sep 19th 2015, 12:00 by Adventures In Faith on Prophetic

The Overcomer
From Treatise on Charity 1766, Posthumas Works, Emanuel Swedenborg.
“The first of charity is to look to the Lord, and shun evils because they are sins; which is done by repentance”
To be set forth in this order:
“1. (1) As far as anyone does not shun evils because they are sins, so far he remains in them”.
My plain English Translation:  Any person that refuses to resist evils, or make an effort to do so, will not succeed.  This is because sin offends God, and it is opposite to His nature.  And because that person continues to partake in that particular sin nature, the power of sin remains.  And the sin will not leave that person, but will infest and trouble them evenmore.
The only escape mechanism from this torment, is the free will decision on the part of that person to fight and resist
(shun) the sin that troubles them.  By making this willful choice, the power of the cross is now activated and available.
Modern church doctrine says that Jesus took away our sins and their deathly penalty by His death and resurrection on the cross.  By faith alone in His work on the cross, we are forgiven and made white as snow.
The misunderstanding with this doctrine is the TRUTH that;  Jesus BORE OUR SINS, not took them away.  It is up to
us, as colaborers with Christ, to make the decision (through our own volition) to be overcomers.  To fight and resist the temptations that assault us.

As told in the Gospels, this is how Jesus made His human DIVINE, through overcoming temptations and trials.  Even to the point of drops of blood leaving His skin at the Mount of Olives.  “And being in an agony He prayed more earnestly. And His sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.  (Luk 22:44).

“Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and
follow Me”.  (Mat 16:24)

“You have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin”.  (Heb 12:4)

Psalms 78 - Salvation and The Heart of God

Posted Aug 8th 2015, 12:00 by Adventures In Faith on Prophetic

08.08.2015
The directive and purpose I believe that God has assigned to me, is to pursue and interpret the WORD as closely as I can achieve to what the angels
in heaven are seeing when they read the WORD. In other words to dig and research until I have exhausted all my abilities, and then God will
approve or correct. Much like a school teacher reviewing submitted home work. The Word I am submitting was much more unusual than anything I have done...

Book of Revelation

Posted May 29th 2015, 12:00 by Adventures In Faith on Prophetic

Revelation 11:11 the Linchpin Verse of This Generation.

Taken from the forthcoming book, “A Testimony of Jesus, Notes on the Book of Revelation” (Part 2).

For years the number 11:11 has held a place in my imagination.  Countless times, my eyes would be diverted to the clock when the time was 11:11, whether it was AM or PM.  I sensed a divine presence, a spiritual presence.  I could never quite put my finger on it.  It baffled and perplexed me.  I looked at various resources on Biblical numbers.  All very interesting, but nothing to indicate the hidden truth contained within the number 11

After finishing chapter 10, I came to fork in the road.  It dawned on me, as if a thousand words in one second, this was the 11:11 I had been seeing on clocks for so long.

REVELATION CHAPTER 11 Verse 11;  “DECLARE IT FORTH INTO THE HEAVENS”.

Verse 11:  And after three days and a half, a spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood on their feet. And great fear fell on those seeing them.  (Rev 11:11)

“three days and a half” (see V. 8,9).  “a spirit of life from God entered into them”.  This new movement of God is given validity by “a spirit of life from God”.

For then “they stood on their feet”.  For what came in (“a spirit of life from God”) from the spiritual realm is now manifesting itself on the earth (church).  This new infusion of God’s Spirit (“spirit of life from God”) has invigorated and motivated a portion of the church (“half”).  Unlike the stiff necked church people in V. 9, this portion of the church is not rejecting but embracing this “spirit of life”.

This is the restoration of the early church of the apostles.  Have you ever noticed in your own life, when you do something wrong the first time, the same situation, at a different time seems to reappear?  Until you get it right and learn a kingdom lesson?  This is very similar to what is happening here.  The Lord is very patient, but will not tolerate error in kingdom doctrine to blemish his church; “that He might present it to Himself as the glorious  ;church, without spot or wrinkle or any such things, but that it should be holy and without blemish” (Eph 5:27).

[For a parallel revelation that this portrays in this verse see “The Vision of the Body of Christ, and the End Time Ministries by Tommy Hicks (1961)”. (from "To Heal the Sick", pg 8-16, by C. & F. Hunter)]

The natural eye will see a spiritual explosion.  The incoming harvest from this new movement will stagger the imagination.

No one will any longer have the right or authority to deny that this is a move of God.  The “two witnesses” have grown roots and risen, standing on their (2) feet.  The “two witnesses” which are called “LOVE” and “TRUTH”.  “LOVE” to the Lord, and “LOVE” to the neighbor.  These (2) are built upon Spiritual “TRUTH and Spiritual “WISDOM”.  For these two (2) are the (2) linchpins upon which kingdom doctrine is founded.

“great fear fell on those seeing them”.  From Strong’s this is G5401:
From a primary φέβομαι phebomai (to be put in fear); alarm or fright: - be afraid, + exceedingly, fear, terror.

This “fear” is like hearing a preacher or evangelist preach on hell fire and damnation.  But this “fear” is not rooted in love.  It is rooted in SELF.  What will happen to ME?  What will happen to MY reputation? (pride).  The stiff necked of the old guard church (who made “war) will wonder to themselves.  Exactly like the Jewish church leaders who saw the building of the church of Jesus Christ happening in front of their eyes; “those seei ing them”.  Bitterness and evil will occupy their minds.

This word “fear” (G5401) is also illustrated in Acts chapter 5, of Ananias, with Sapphira his wife;  “Then at once she fell down at his feet and expired. And the younger ones found her dead, and, carrying her out, buried her beside her husband. And great fear came on all the church and on as many as heard these things” (Act 5:10-11).  It is rooted in SELF.  What will happen to ME?  But in this case, it is Holy “fear”.  The mind&  is forced to examine SELF motivations, and to make sure SELF is in the right position to God.

This is the OPPOSITE of that word “fear” (Strong’s G5399 φοβέω phobeō
fob-eh'-o From G5401; to frighten, that is, (passively) to be alarmed; by analogy to be in awe of, that is, revere: - be (+ sore) afraid, fear (exceedingly), reverence.) that is found in Matthew; “And the angel answered and said to the women, Do not fear, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified” (Mat 28:5).  This “fear” is rooted in LOVE.  The source is the Lord Himself, “Do not fear”.  It seeks to reassure and calm the mind  ;of the one who is frightened.  It brings forth peaceful fruits of the Spirit.  For it is speaking forth FAITH and LIFE from the risen Lord.

But in this case, “fear fell on those seeing them”.  As mentioned in verse 8; “And their bodies”, refer to the leaders and clergy of the old church order (Sola fide (Latin: by faith alone), will declare that the new movement of the Spirit to be null and void.  Or as dead bodies, containing no life.  These leaders of the old church order have become so militant (“make war”), they accuse and condemn everything brought forth by the new movement of the Spirit.

“Those seeing them” are the old guard and adherents associated with the reformed Christian church.  This energized movement is moving heaven and earth.

even so do ye. (1Co 16:1)
Last Sunday at church service, the Pastor announced he was suspending the regular preaching and teaching so he could appeal to the congregation on the subject of tithing.
He talked about the lagging behind of various church programs, and the cost of them. Also, about how the music...

Order In the Church?
And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth. How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. If any man speak in an unknown tongue,...

Blessed and fortunate and happy and spiritually prosperous (in that state in which the born-again child of God enjoys His favor and salvation) are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God), for they shall be completely satisfied! (Writers Note: God gave me a Word through a vision. I do not pretend the symbolism is correct with native culture. God, in His mercy, gave me images that I could relate to and understand. In fact, it is considered no big deal to have visions and dreams for the Indian, it is an everyday occurrence for them.)
In a vision I saw a warrior with a metal helmet. I...
