Word of Faith and the Bible
by Rev.Wesley Jacob
Word of Faith teaching is decidedly unbiblical. It is not a denomination, and does not have a formal organization or hierarchy. Instead, it is a movement that is profoundly influenced by a number of high-profile preachers and teachers such as Kenneth Hagin, Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Paul and Jan Crouch, and Fred Price.
The Word of Faith movement grew out of the Pentecostal movement in the latter 20th century. Its founder was E. W....

The Great Need for Shepherds After God
Posted Jan 14th 2008, 12:00 by Prophetic Pulpit on Prophetic
"Lord! Help! Godly men are fast disappearing. Where in all
the world can dependable men be found? Everyone deceives and
flatters and lies. There is no sincerity left" (Psalm 12:1 - Living).
The state of affairs described in this verse is an apt
description of Christendom today. We find nowadays that
even believers who were once pursuing after godliness have
started indulging in deception, flattery and lies - to serve
their own ends. Sincerity is what God seeks from all of us
first of all. We may...
Message for the year 2008 : Prophetic Vision of the Lord's throne
Posted Jan 7th 2008, 11:03 by Prophetic Pulpit on Prophetic
Throne high and lifted up
As we enter the year 2008, let us perceive the vision of God through the prophetic eyes of Isaiah in verses 1 to 8 of the chapter 8 of Isaiah.
Isaiah said that He saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up with His train filling the Temple in the year that king Uzziah died. His vision of the throne of the Lord followed the death of Uzziah. Uzziah (Azariah) was one of...

VISION: "PROSTRATE UNDER SACKCLOTH - The Only Safe Place"
- Rosie Lovejoy
"This is the vision I had during Praise and Worship on January 4th,
2003, the evening we were praying for a Pastor and his wife's
departure to Israel...
It began with a vision of a huge lion, about ten to fifteen feet high. He was suspended about two to three feet off the ground. He was not a "cute" lion, rather His mane was large and shaggy, and He
looked very viral and...

Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judea, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of the region of Ituraea and Trachonitis, and Lysanias tetrarch of Abilene, in the high priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came to John, the son of Zacharias, in the wilderness. He came into all the region around the Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for remission of sins....

Indian Christmas
- R.Stanley, Blessing Youth Mission, India
Reading: Luke 2:8-18
"God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son" (Jn 3:16)
Christmas is celebrated in India largely in Western style. Christianity is still thought to be the religion of the whiteman. So our non-Christian friends hesitate to participate in Christmas celebrations. Christ was not born in the East or the West, but in the Middle East. Announcing the birth of Christ, the angel told the shepherds that it was good...
"Wilt Thou Be Made Whole?"/Dear Enemies!

"Wilt Thou Be Made Whole?"
By Andrew Murray
"Jesus saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool. Jesus saith unto him, Rise and walk. Immediately the man was made whole, and walked" (John 5:6-9).
Feebleness in prayer is the mark of disease. Impotence to walk is, in the Christian as in the natural life, a terrible proof...

We Should Groan Because Of Our Spiritual Condition
By Charles H. Spurgeon
Those are in the best condition that, while they know they need reviving, yet feel their condition and groan under it. Habakkuk knew how to groan about his spiritual condition. "O Lord," he said, "revive Thy work…" (3:2). Alas, many of us lack revival, but few of us feel that we lack it. It is a blessed sign of life within when we know...

Living In The Last Hours Of The Last Days
By Oswald J. Smith
Peter, preaching to the assembled crowd which gathered to behold God’s workings on the day of Pentecost, said, "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh" (Acts 2:17). We are still living "in the last days." This is the dispensation of the Holy Ghost. Pentecost marked the birth of...
The Glory of the Word of God
Posted Dec 7th 2007, 12:00 by Prophetic Pulpit on Prophetic
In Deuteronomy 32:2, the Word of God is likened to dew. Dew,
in the Bible, is a figure of God's blessing. When God
blessed Israel, He gave them the dew and the rain. When
Israel sinned God withheld them, as He did in 1 Kings 17:1.
This symbol teaches therefore that God's blessing comes
through His Word upon all who receive and obey it. Proverbs
10:22 declares that that blessing can enrich us, making up
for all our shortcomings. What an encouragement that is!
More than one instance...
A VISION OF THE BODY OF CHRIST
Posted Dec 3rd 2007, 12:00 by Prophetic Pulpit on Prophetic
"A VISION OF THE BODY AS A GOLDEN LOAF OF BREAD--WE ARE TO GIVE THE WORLD SOMETHING TO EAT"
"Giving away what we have is one of the fundamental principles of multiplication."
In late October, I was waiting on the Lord when I had a vision of a pastor who was standing in front of the congregation. Then I saw a group of 15 to 20 people in front of him form into a "loaf of bread", which began to glow--golden in...

Revival in America
Revivals break out in all the churches in the city of Houston excepting the main-line denominational churches. Thousands of Christians who flock to the Jesus of Nazareth are getting revived. The convicts undergoing sentences in the same prison cells are convicted of their sins and repent of the same. There is rejoicing by the prisoners. The very presence of...

Jesus and His eleven disciples are looked after well in the American prison. The names of His names are Mohammed, Salim Khan, Sayyed Laden, Vinod Krishna, Ramakrishna, Sunder Singh, Bhakt Singh, Surendra Jain, Xavier, Fernandez, and John Jacob. For the disciples, who are poor in their own nation, it is a blessing in disguise. Their own houses in India do not have the minimum...
