The Commandment of Life

The Commandment of Life
Romans 7: 1-4
1. Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
2. For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
3. So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married...

"My Father...."

Posted Mar 4th 2010, 03:05 by Wilderness Waters Fellowship on Prophetic

“My Father….”
These two words spoken by Jesus were enough to get the Pharisees twisted out of shape. Never before had anyone claimed God as their Father. Never before had anyone ever claimed to be a Son of God in the real sense of being begotten of God as His very offspring. Let us look at the Scripture plainly…
John 5:17-23
17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him,...

Jacob's Ladder...the Open Heavens!

Posted Dec 6th 2009, 12:00 by Wilderness Waters Fellowship on Prophetic

What a glorious destiny for the House of God, the Ladder Jacob saw in his dream.
See how this ladder vision is brought out in the first chapter of the Gospel of John. You will recall how amazed Nathanael was when the Lord remarked how He had seen him under the fig tree. Actually the Lord may have been miles away at the time, and Nathanael knew that. How could this be? But Jesus said: "thou shalt see greater things...

Abraham, Father of True Christian Faith

Posted Nov 27th 2009, 06:23 by Wilderness Waters Fellowship on Prophetic

The following is a Biblical accounting of events as recorded in Abraham's life which will show us his heart as a compassionate father in the natural, as well as the fore-runner..."father of the Christian faith"....one who believed God as he came to hear God's voice clarify His intents and purposes. As well, we will see how that these events are the prophetic fore-shadowings of the new Testament reality of the "wheat and the tares", the church-spiritual and the church-carnal, the...

Oil On The Beard...Maturity & Fulness!

OIL UPON THE BEARD
"It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments". (Psalms 133:2).
Here is a description of the anointing of the High Priest, with emphasis on the precious ointment. Notice .. . the same ointment not a different or cheaper kind, but the same ointment that came first upon the Head, ran down over the entire Body. Glory to Jesus!...

The Harness of the Lord

Posted Aug 21st 2009, 12:00 by Wilderness Waters Fellowship on Prophetic

I Saw The Carriage of the Lord. (A Vision)
On a dirt road in the middle of a wide field stood a beautiful carriage, something on the order of a stagecoach, but all edged in gold, and with beautiful carvings. It was pulled by six large chestnut horses, two in the lead, two in the middle and two in the rear. But they were not moving, they were not pulling the carriage, and I wondered why. Then I saw the driver...

Proving of the Elect

Posted Jun 15th 2009, 11:24 by Wilderness Waters Fellowship on Prophetic

What makes all the difference in the world is for the individual to EXPERIENCE the dealings of God in this hour, and to have been given Revelation in answer to a God-given quest for Absolutes.
It is one thing to, in many different settings and reasons, objectively try to accept and understand the "message", but quite another to have gone through a "coming out" birth-pains experience with God....Over the years having suffered continued separation and a going forward with progressively revealed...

Experiencing God

Posted May 26th 2009, 02:58 by Wilderness Waters Fellowship on Prophetic

Beware:
Experiencing God replaced with Head Knowledge

The true Christian experience is just that…an experience of God and man meeting and a powerful change taking place on the inside of man by the power of God. But, over the centuries, and just in the last 100 years, knowledge has increased and reared its ugly head above the simplicity of personally experiencing God.
We see it in every “move of God” and self-proclaimed Christian faction or sect where differences of doctrine are rampant and...

Who Really Knows & Has the TRUTH?

Posted May 23rd 2009, 12:52 by Wilderness Waters Fellowship on Prophetic

I think just about everyone would say that they are receiving the Holy Spirit's teaching to qualify what they believe, (and their "interpretation" which they would say was revealed by God's Spirit).
I agree 100% that we must rely on the inspiration of God's Spirit which inspired the Word to begin with. But how do we know for sure who is receiving the true Revelation of the Spirit? How do we know for sure if we are?
The next answer might...

The Unity of the Spirit

The Unity of the Spirit
Eph 4:1-3
1) I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
2) With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3) Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
A very well known and often quoted passage of Scripture, especially when trying to maintain peace and order between feuding parties in Christian circles.
Let's look at this closely and...

Fallacy of Pastoral Sovereignty

Posted Apr 26th 2009, 02:26 by Wilderness Waters Fellowship on Prophetic

The "ONE MAN PASTOR" System is NOT in the Bible
by Andrew Strom.
Most churches today are run using the 'Senior Pastor' model, where one man (-almost always with a degree from Bible College) does most of the ministering and is looked up to as "the man of God". Few could deny that pastors are truly the ones who are running the church today.
But amazingly enough, in the Book of Acts, which is the history of the first 30 YEARS of the...

The Importance of Understanding God

Posted Apr 25th 2009, 04:03 by Wilderness Waters Fellowship on Prophetic

The important thing about understanding God properly is...
1) understanding His purpose properly.
2) understanding who we are properly.
3) understanding our place in Him and His plan.
This is where the enemy of souls, through an antichrist spirit, brought into the carnally religious desires of unregenerate man the concept of God as three eternal persons. It throws the deceived into a idolatrous worship of a false god, while still looking like Christianity.
It distorts man's concept of God's plan for man and...

The Revelation of "Lord Jesus Christ".

Acts 2:36
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Acts 2:37-38
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and...

5 And the LORD said unto me, Son of man, mark well, and behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears all that I say unto thee concerning all the ordinances of the house of the LORD, and all the laws thereof; and mark well...

Servanthood, Submission & Character Growth

Posted Mar 18th 2009, 01:32 by Wilderness Waters Fellowship on Prophetic

We may just have a different concept of the word "serve", but I am not speaking in terms of being a servant in the terms of a bond-slave. I am speaking of being a voluntary blessing and server of others.
A Minister is a servant. He SERVES others with the Word, counsel and guidance.
When a man washes his wife with the "washing of water by the Word" is this not a "serving" capacity? As she sits quietly and receives the Word and the washing...
