Dear Friends, Family, Ministry Partners, & Share Plan Supporters,
Its high time to give you all an update from ministry events and places this year. I really have a sincere intention to make this an epistle every few weeks, rather than every few months, so please forgive my tardiness. Ill not use busy as an excuse, because I like being busy. I made the decision recently that I would not complain about busy or use it as a reason for not doing something else that is also important. Farmers are busy but the mature crop and harvest are always the focus. Having said that, I have lots to share with you as God blesses our efforts in evangelism. Thanks for the many replies to previous editions. It seems that you enjoy getting a glimpse of our fellowship and recreational opportunities as well as our ministry locations and parsonage families. With that thought in mind, heres some new peeks into our lives with captions or information under each photo.
Fishing was great at the Atlanta, GA Aquarium. Its one of the largest tanks in the world, measuring more than a football field in length!
Larry points out a spot that a window washer had missed. Ha.
Tam and our good friend, Johnnie Mae Welch look up from under the huge tank.
We got trapped in the fountain. Who says we cant walk on water? Or is that in the water?
Spirited singing at Lakeland Holiness Camp invigorates those who attend in old fashion camp meeting style.
Rev. Claude & Jan Nicholas came to see us at the coach while we were ministering at Lakeland Holiness Camp Meeting in Lakeland, Florida.
We had to test the famous Plant City Strawberry Festival shortcake while ministering with our friends, the Corzines, at the Plant City Nazarene Church.
We were given tickets to a Third Day concert so we decided to ramp up our repertoire with some new songs. Hmmm well keep working on it.
We connected with our twin friends, Ana & Britton, in Pennsicola, Florida. Their parents, Eric & Tammy Doverspike provided their ride. We love them all!
We shared ministry with Dr. Norman Wilson. This is a rare glimpse of him perusing a book after dumpster diving at the Goodwill Outlet Center. We all need recreation, right?
Attentive choir members rehearse prior to service. Its fun when people love to sing and contribute to the overall spirit of involvement. God blessed their efforts.
Rev. Allen & Evelyn Cobb were instrumental in Larrys spiritual nurturing as he grew up on the Michigan District. What a joy it was to fellowship with them!
Dr. L. Thurl & Mary Kay Mann are family to us, so, a visit is always a blessing when we get nearby.
We had a great time with Pastor Mike and Mandy Farmer while we ministered in Moultrie, Georgia. Their congregation is exciting!
Wilkes Church of the Nazarene in Rockledge, Georgia is located in a beautiful country setting. Rev. Ike & Deborah Branch pastor there and we had a wonderful revival with many receiving help and victory.
Ill limit the overall size of this update to 15 photos. It travels and flows through many servers more efficiently. Ill send more soon. We love to hear from you and even better, see you. Thanks for your prayers! We really do need you!
Sincerely for Souls,
Larry & Tam
