Our Sunday night crowd was anticipating a great night and indeed it was so. His Highest Praise Honolulu is a learning church. We believe that it is the Great Commission to make "active learners" of all nations. We believe that we must share the redemptive opportunity of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that through Him we have eternal life.
Laurel Lehman, who grew up in a family of Muslims, gave his testimony about how he first came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. In doing so, he shared how other Muslims think and feel about what they believe and why. When it came to questions and answers, more information came forth. Brother Laurel began to give out more insights as to how Muslims think and feel about the West and how we can reach them for the Lord.
Brother Laurel was an exceptional speaker and used his training with YWAM and his natural skills as a communicator to ignite such stimulating discussions in the crowd.
The evening service could have gone on and on. So many questions were fielded by Laurel. We had tp close the service by 9 p.m., having started at 6 p.m.
Mahalo to our brother and his wonderful family. During our fall semester at His Highest Praise College, we will have two weeks in which we will again present a discussion and lecture by Brother Laurel so we can know how to share faith and understand what divides us and the political, military, religious perceptions, among other things, that contribute to the vast divide, not to mention the spiritual and prophetic.
LET'S PRAY FOR GOD'S GRACE UPON THE PRECIOUS MUSLIM PEOPLE AND FOR ALL OF US THAT WE WILL UNDERSTAND THEM AND BE ABLE TO MORE EFFECTIVELY SHARE OUR LOVE FOR JESUS TO THEM.
TELL IT NOW
TELL IT ALL.
SHARE OUR FAITH,
JESUS IS COMING SOON.
