It should be noted that this teaching outlines some different perspectives and purposes in our equipping of Five Fold Ministries as sons and daughters.  As noted below, where “Time” is relating to an upward momentum in our stature in Christ, Five Fold Ministry becomes as a compass that builds and directs us for the journey.

It is known that ministry that functions within the church operates in relationship with, or submitted to leaders in Five Fold Ministry. Beyond the Church, apostolic ministry operates in relationship to the generations through the father and son order of ministry that Jesus demonstrated. This model of ministry progresses into the King/Priest order, also known as the Priesthood, after Melchizedek

In learning how to discern the times, we need to look at four definitions of Time used in scripture. These times are defined through Kairos, Chronos, Ano and Nux.

Four Definitions of Time

Kairos (Strongs 2540)due measure. A measure of time, a fixed and definite time, the time when things are brought to crisis, the decisive epoch waited for opportune or seasonable time; the right time, a limited period of time.

Chronos (Strongs 5550) (natural) time. Also defined as delay.

ANO (Strongs 507) up, upwards, above, on high of the quarters of the heaven, northward of countries, inland, up from the coast of time, formerly.   In Gal. 4:26 the word could refer to either place or time, i.e. place - the Jerusalem which is above - in the heavens time - the eternal Jerusalem which preceded the earthly one. (Note from Cindy: Jesus spoke of Himself as “going (up) to the Father)

NUX (Strongs 3571) Night.  metph. the time when work ceases; the time of death; the time for deeds of sin and shame; the time of moral stupidity and darkness, the time when the weary and also the drunken give themselves up to slumber.  (Note from Cindy: Here the direction of NUX, or night, is obviously downward towards spiritual death and decay. A sharp contrast to ANO. Romans 13:12 below gives usage of these times)

Romans 13: 12 The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.

Ephesians 6:12 says that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. KJV

As Gatekeepers and Apostolic Leaders, our objective in the times ahead is to "take the high places". In times of transition, we learn to not only hold our ground, but we also look to advance in order to gain new spiritual ground in the Kingdom of God.

Presently, there is a corporate sound resonating within apostolic and prophetic communities.  It's important to identify the word that the Lord has for His Church in this hour.  As the prophetic word prepares us for the spiritual shifts and the shakings that are ahead, we must discern these seasons as our opportunities, or times of transition, to advance the Kingdom of God.

Note:  Apostolic ministry is ministry that extends from the Apostles and operates from the cross through the knowledge of the Resurrection Life of Christ.  (ANO Times – as in going to the Father) Prophetic ministry is not limited to the foretelling of events. In this teaching, prophetic ministry is being identified through the Times and Seasons that the Holy Spirit uses to gather God’s people into. These are also the seasons that He equips them through in the knowledge of Christ.

During transitions, the church will come to understand how apostolic alignments empower her to become established upon Truth that does not shake, or shift, in the Kingdom of God. These truths are congruent with the principals that our lives are built upon in regards to our interpretation and practice of scripture. This relationship with scripture is also known as Present Truth.  Our equipping comes in two ways, with the first being through how we’re equipped through Five Fold ministry. From our equipping through the ministries of Christ, we then appropriate our faith and revelation to life’s choices and circumstances that we’re faced with daily.  This is how we come into what is known as Present Truth.  As we grow in our knowledge of Christ, our ways of appropriating faith to bring us into Present Truth will continue to mature and change. This is because the Kingdom is relational and must be demonstrated to the communities that surround us.

We learn to make Jesus Lord of every facet of life in light of how we govern our lives through the knowledge of His ministries. For this reason, our alignments with leadership are especially important in this hour.  During times of transition, if we’re too heavily aligned with life’s circumstances and traditions that are born through men, our lives reproduce what is born of man over what is born of God. This results in the gross darkness (without the light of Christ) that the Bible speaks about where man has gone astray from the knowledge of God. Relationship with God through Christ postures us to receive of and activate the blessings upon the generations of sons and daughters.

Apprehending God’s blessings comes through discerning what we understand as Kairos, appointed times. These prophetic times, which are spiritual, establish us in the Kingdom of God upon new Truths to be accelerated in later times, known as Ano Times.

Kairos times, are purposed to pull our natural lives into relationship with God’s timing, purposes and plans of the Kingdom. When this happens, the Kingdom has come to our lives in a very real way. Where we once perceived our world through a natural mind, we begin to see and perceive our lives and the world around us through the Mind of Christ.  Just as God created heaven and earth in the beginning, we learn to create our world in and through Christ. This takes place through discerning the times in relationship to our life and relationships, as well as through our fellowship with God. Through renewed minds, we relate with God through what is spiritual and eternal, rather than seeking fellowship with God through what is natural, or temporal.

So that we may learn to discern the Times, we need to study the different uses of Time throughout scripture.  This is easiest to understand through the Father and Son relationship that Jesus modeled throughout His life and ministry. In Jesus’ earthly life and ministry, His relationship with His Father in Heaven was continually demonstrated before men. Within this relationship, the generations of spiritual fathers are represented as well as the generations of spiritual sons.

To simplify this even more, our vertical relationship with God aligns us to receive of Christ on a personal level.   The Five Fold ministries of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher are the fullness of expression of Christ. (Eph 4:11) In order to receive of Christ through His ministries to become empowered and equipped by them, we align ourselves with those leaders who function in these specific gifts.

Our horizontal relationships and lifestyle on earth gives us place to appropriate the faith and ministries that we receive from above. Once we can discern the Times, we then learn to discern the generations through the knowledge of what is born of God from above and what is born of men. The faith that we appropriate to our lifestyle through our sonship (in Christ) becomes the factor that impacts what is born through the generations of men. Here, we divide light from darkness to impart and speak blessing upon the generations born of men.  For this, we must be able to bless relational standards through their form of sonship without being a respecter of persons. Relational standards include that of Five Fold Ministry, Husband, Wife, Mother, Father, Government, etc .

Unless we identify this through the simplest form that visitation comes through, we will miss God in the higher realms where He establishes His Kingdom. Family life is the most simplistic demonstration of where spiritual shifts first begin to be seen. Oftentimes, a rule, or pattern of relationship comes to light to reveal unfruitful or dead works. We see all of life and creation through the flesh nature of the first Adam, as well as through the life-giving spirit of the last Adam, who is Christ Jesus.

For this purpose, we submit ourselves to raise relational standards and structures through ANO times where corporate bodies are caught in an upward momentum that demonstrates the Kingdom of God on earth.

1 Cor 15:
The Order of Resurrection
20But now Christ (AC)has been raised from the dead, the (AD)first fruits of those who (AE)are asleep.
21For since (AF)by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead.
22For (AG)as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
23But each in his own order: Christ (AH)the first fruits, after that (AI)those who are Christ's at (AJ)His coming,
24then comes the end, when He hands over (AK)the kingdom to the (AL)God and Father, when He has abolished (AM)all rule and all authority and power.
25For He must reign (AN)until He has put all His enemies under His feet.
26The last enemy that will be (AO)abolished is death.
