SPEAKERS

Maria Vadia
Born in Havana, Cuba, Maria was 10 years old when she and her family fled to Miami, Florida to escape the communist regime in her native country. She attended Catholic schools and was a “Sunday” Catholic with no personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Later married to a wealthy man, she was gripped by materialism; yet in the midst of everything the world could offer, she knew that something was missing. Maria was baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1987 and consecrated her life to the Lord Jesus Christ and to the preaching of the Gospel. In spite of great adversity, the Lord has been with her like a “mighty warrior” (Jeremiah 20:11). Maria is active in the “Catholic Charismatic Renewal” of the Archdiocese of Miami and has spoken at many charismatic conferences. She is founder of the “Jesus is Lord” chapter of Magnificat in Miami, and a member of the Advisory Board of Magnificat, International, a ministry for Catholic Women. She has traveled around America, Cuba, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, Jamaica, Mexico, Malta, Ghana, Nicaragua, Uganda, Indonesia, Canada and India bringing a message of faith, salvation and healing. She ministers the Word to various prayer groups, including “The King Jesus Prayer Group” which she has faithfully led since 1992, as well as at the Miami Women’s Detention Center and Genesis House, a home for the homeless with AIDS (presently closed). She has authored three books; “There is Power In Your Tongue,” “Pressing On In The Spirit” and “An Arrow In His Hand.”

He is currently the Administrator of Holy Rosary Church in Winthrop, just outside Boston. Father Tom has been active in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal for over two decades, and has preached at countless conferences and prayer meetings. In 1984 he began In Season and Out of Season, a Catholic evangelical Bible outreach on radio. His program is now heard on over 25 stations across the U.S., and is also carried by WEWN, the shortwave radio ministry of Mother Angelica's Eternal Word Television Network.

Robin Simons
Robbin Simons, originally from Little Compton, RI, has lived in Miami, FL, since 1985. Robbin felt the call to dance ministry in July of that year while pursuing a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Ministries at St. Thomas University in Miami. She conducted research in the area of dance and worship, which resulted in her thesis project, Freeing the Spirit Within. After two years of prayer, instruction and careful discernment, in 1987 Robbin founded Disciples in Motion dance ministry at St. Louis Catholic Church in Miami, and she continues to serve as its director. In addition, Robbin holds a certificate in Scripture Study, also obtained at St. Thomas University. She currently teaches Sacred Studies, dance and music at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Day School in Miami. Sister Linda Koontz
Sister Linda Koontz has been a sister of the Holy Name of Jesus and Mary since 1960. She spent eight years teaching religion in Washington State before being propelled by the Lord into her dynamic ministry. In 1971, after having experienced the power of the Holy Spirit in her life, Sister Linda began serving full time in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal with great faith-filled power. Sister Linda has truly gone “out to all the world” to share the Good News. She has ministered powerful gifts of knowledge and healing in numerous countries. Always present in her ministry is the life-giving word of God bringing renewal to the hearts and minds of all who hear her. At the present time, Sister Linda is based in El Paso, Texas and ministers to the poorest of the poor in Juarez, Mexico through the outreach ‘The Spirit of the Lord International Mission’. Evangelization, healing and zealous love for the poor are the gifts that she brings to the body of Christ. She is a well-known evangelist, preacher and teacher of God’s Word. She has traveled around the world proclaiming the Good News of salvation and baptism of the Holy Spirit. Baptized in the Holy Spirit over thirty years ago, she has kept the “fire” going in her own life and has set many people on “fire” for the Lord Jesus! The gifts of the Holy Spirit, which St. Paul encourages us to “eagerly desire” them , (1 Cor. 14:1), are well manifested in Sr. Linda’s ministry. Don’t miss this opportunity to praise and worship our God and to listen to what the Lord is saying through Sister Linda.

Susan Potvin and Living Praise

Since then, Living Praise has been ministering at churches, revivals, retreats and other conferences and events. The group is led by worship leader Susan Potvin, and includes Karen Herrmann, Mary Recznik, Anne Recznik, Lisa Ledyard, Karen Jedrzejewski, Melissa Hitchcock and Angela Ripley.

She was on staff with the International House of Prayer in Kansas City where she dedicated her time to studying and singing the word of God. Currently, she lives in Kansas City where she is pursuing a career as a Singer/Songwriter. It is her dream to make known the glory and beauty of Jesus. Praise Flagging by Caleb Brundidge
Caleb is the creator of the ekstasis worship phenomenon "Club Mysterio," and one of the leaders of the Extreme Prophetic Evangelism Department. He is a passionate worship leader and lover of Jesus moving powerfully in the prophetic and ushering in the glory of God taking the hearer to heightened levels of intimacy with Jesus and third heaven encounters. He leads street evangelism teams, ministers to youth and young adults on same sex attraction and gender identity issues, and does practical training on freedom and spontaneity in praise and worship and intercession. Through the vehicle of DJ led, electronic worship music, Caleb trains the body in how to become free in worship and praise and to express adoration for Jesus through flag, song, and dance. He also teaches how to cry out to God through prayer, intercession and travail using the whole body. He believes the verse "For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now…Even we ourselves groan within ourselves eagerly awaiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body" ~ Romans 8:22-23, expresses our need to reach beyond our traditional ways of prayer to get breakthrough in our lives and over regions.
