Dear River Church Family and Friends,
For the past few weeks, I have been sending out emails to inform each of you on the topic that I will be focusing on for the upcoming Sunday. This week I want to share with you what The River Church experienced the previous Sunday. I feel it is very important to let each of you know that God is still moving in a mighty way in the Fox Valley.
This past Sunday, during an intimate worship time, God moved powerfully in our service. He touched the lives of each of us. Throughout the Bible we read how people would give a sacrifice to God, then God would answer their prayers. One member humbled himself at the altar. This led to other personal sacrifices being made and God answered by touching the lives of each person attending our service.
It was described as..."feeling like Heaven." "It was so beautiful, like the first time you see your bride walking down the aisle." Another person said, "I felt electricity in my body as I was receiving prayer."
I strongly encourage each of you to come this Sunday to experience God in this powerful yet intimate way. Prepare yourself to make a sacrifice so that God is able to move in your life. The anticipation is building. If it has been awhile since you have received a touch from the Lord, or if you have never experienced the power of God, please consider joining us this Sunday at 10:00 am. Together we will enter into His Presence.
Please remember that parking is available on the street or in the parking lot located at the corner of Appleton St. and Franklin St., right across from our front door.
