TerryMinisters Of The Grace of God (not bad news!)

Dear Friends

It seems that most of my messages are done on the radio these days, but one theme that continuously comes to mind concerns emails. Namely, the load of BAD NEWS emails I get from Christian ministries these days.  I don't mean those ministries are having problems. But, they think that sending out  bad news stories are somehow a prophetic ministry!   But we are supposed to be ministers of the grace of God!

A couple of last weeks emails come to mind.  An "all you eat buffet" of bad news.  Storms,  Floods, Disease, Famine, Earthquakes, Volcanoes,  Persecution, the Gay movement did this, ACLU does that, the government decided this, the court did that!  Oh Lord help us!  What to do.. what to do .... The world is going to hell all around us!

This is not how to edify one other!

Time To Get A Kingdom Grip

1. What Are You Looking At?

- Paul said "set your mind on things above, where Christ is".  If I set my mind on all this bad news  I'll have a depression!  I need to know how to live IN the world but have my heart and mind ABOVE the world. I need God's life and love for the worlds needs.

2. A Spirit Of Fear Is At Work   I have seen this demon operating through certain "prophetic "ministries. When Christians listen to their TV shows  or read their books fear gets in them.   They become preoccupied with what "the enemy" is doing. There is no longer love in their hearts towards the sinners involved, only fear.  Lets rebuke this stinker in Jesus name!  It is  not a strong demon, but it is religious and deceptive. There are genuine prophets who speak of what is happening in the world, but the fear is never there.  The fruit of love, faith and joy is!

3. Christians in the West are Wimps! We need God Given Courage!    I've ministered to numerous persecuted pastors in India.  They've lost everything and fled for their lives, and they are joyful!  Here in west the devil just rattles his cage and we have "spirit filled panic" (not the Holy Spirit)   We must defeat fear and self pity or the church will be powerless!  Oh God give us boldness and courage.

4. Jesus IS Lord.  Do You Actually Believe It?  Christ HAS ascended on high and sits at the right hand of the Father and He shall reign until every enemy is made a footstool for His feet. (Acts 2:5)  We are part of a Kingdom that has no end, a rule that began when Christ rose. We are in the new creation inaugurated at Pentecost. We are seated WITH CHRIST in the heavenly places  in the Spirit NOW.  The present world order is passing away, and we are already part of the eternal Kingdom!    Everything that can be shaken will be shaken, but we have received a Kingdom that cannot be shaken!

5. What We Do Now Is Eternal !   The new life we have in the Spirit  now is already part of the coming new creation of heaven and earth. We need to know that the earthly things we do now count!   Paul says   Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.   (I Corinthians 15:58)  Can you imagine, what you do NOW,  ....ON EARTH,  ...IN THE LORD, ... can be eternal.

Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
(1 Corinthians 3:13)

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.    (I John 3:2)

I have attached a great prophetic blog I received from a friend yesterday.  I believe it has the fruit of the Spirit and the genuine heart of Jesus for our times.

from the blog of

Vaughn Allen Clark

God bless and keep all of you in Jesus Name. I have been hearing an intensity in the Spirit this year. Rapid change, a different culture, the specter of war---in all these things, the great peace of the Holy Spirit has been with me and whispering,
"Be stable and do not fear--I have much to do. Keep your place and continue in the work I have for you."
I have been in a long season of mourning for my beloved nation--all that I have seen for nearly forty years is coming to pass now, and I realize now it is the time to lift up my head and rejoice. The time of mourning for what has passed and is passing is not to be extended for me.....I must press on in the joy of the Lord for what is ahead of us.
My advice to each of you is not to throw rocks at every dog that barks---it gets tiring, and the enemy uses this to scatter our focus and efforts. Get back in the saddle and do the work of the Lord. Minister Jesus to folks, evangelize, pray for the sick, cast out devils, minister to the orphan and the widow, challenge the darkness when you are the unlovely, plan for the future, work together with other believers.
Wherever you fellowship, stop living alone and allow God to develop teams of ministry to the Body and to others as well. Make your Church a place of love and healing. Be led by the Holy Spirit. Pray for your leaders--they have never been this way before and neither have you.  The genie is out of the bottle and reality is going to hit all of us who have any discernment whatsoever.
Clean up whatever spiritual messes are around you that you can do anything about--be a peacemaker. Dig deep in your heart with the Lord and get ready to move into a realm with Jesus you have never been before. There is a Harvest before us and rigor in drawing close enough to the Lord to face the spirit of antichrist. We must fit Him like a glove.
Get over whatever has offended and hurt you in the Kingdom of God--let me give you some radiant theology:  people are messed up, God is not.  We humans hurt and are hurt...everything in the Bible is about dealing with God, Satan, ourselves, sin, and other people. We are growing out of our training pants. Celebrate success in the Body of Christ and stop feeding on what is wrong the Church. We are being forced out of cultural idolatry and American Churchianity. Don't grow weary in well-doing.
Be sober--very shortly money will move in this country. People will spend like drunken sailors...don't join them. It is a precursor to a global currency shift. One of the big problems the enemy will use to smite many Christians unecessarily is our lack of respect for authority. We are even to respect government officials--I didn't say trust them: respect their authority and position. There is no need to create enemies with bad attitudes and foolishness...again, don't throw rocks and at every dog that barks.
Someone is with you if they are not against you.
There is a rabid anger and subtle hysteria pervading many in the Body--I do not want to receive rants about leaders and mockery. It is not suiting for Christians. We will all find out what we are made of and what we will do. I was at a National Day of Prayer event a couple of years ago.  There was a politician there I personally like, but do not agree with any of his policy or agenda. I held this man's hand and prayed for him--he wept and trembled under the anointing of God. The Presence of God was very strong....the moment was shattered by a Christian in his face shouting at him about his policies. It was not God.
When the person stomped away, he looked at me in disbelief and said,
"But we were praying!"
I had to apologize to him and tell him this individual was not balanced in their faith or understanding, and to please forgive them. This is a man whose agenda I have opposed publicly, even speaking on camera at the State Capitol....I still pray for him and have a genuine love for him.
We have much to learn.  I will obey God and man until man seeks to force me to disobey God. Even then, I will be as cunning as a serpent and harmless as a dove. Beloved, we are heirs, but are also love slaves of Jesus. True humility and meekness is not weakness or is wisdom and discretion. More can be gained by wisdom and Godly action than by irate folly.
It is time for us to be fruitful for the Lord Jesus--no grain of wheat can produce fruit unless it falls into the earth and dies. I once asked the Lord what this meant--I knew the application to Jesus and the time for His Passion, but wanted to know how it applied to me. I had a vision of me standing on a high dive, ready to dive into the sea, but when I looked, it was the sea of humanity. I really did not want to jump, but looked behind me and saw the Lord smiling and encouraging me to jump.
We can not save ourselves by not being obedient to Scripture...
Be a part of the process of study, intercession, evangelism, making disciples, encouraging and comforting one another in the Lord. Ask God to do whatever is necessary to cause you to stand and pray that the love of the Truth will never depart from you or your loved ones.
Do all you can to have fervent love for other Christians. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Ask God to have mercy on this nation and hold back Judgment as long as He can.....take Communion often and keep short accounts with God.
Let go of is poison that will hamstring generations: so much is uselessly destroyed in pride.
These are days of greatly increased spiritual activity dangerously coupled with Scriptural ignorance--we are in open Heaven and open Hell. There are many deceiving spirits masquerading in the Body of Christ. Ask for discernment. Even if an angel appears to you, test the spirits--remember Paul's warning, that even if an angel appeared and preached a different Gospel, let him be accursed. Unfortunately people are so insane for spiritual experiences, even many leaders in the Body do not appear to care what the Bible says.
Hold fast to the Head of the Body, Jesus Christ, and yearn for the mold the Holy Spirit has for that and you will have enough Spiritual experience to put the fear of God in you. You won't have to feed at someone else's experience or delusion, whatever the case may be. Don't forget that even Satan appears as an angel of light.
Don't make a demon out of destiny...there seems to be a growing trend of ambition coupled with zeal, boldness, pride, and religious idolatry:  really the worship of one's will and aspirations as the will of God. God's people are not stepping stones, but living stones. Don't be apathetic, but be very careful about creating a competition for a position in your own heart or in the hearts of others....promotion comes from God, and you must want what He offers, but not at the expense of others, or the Word.
We will be very tempted to go into a survival mode and to enter an arena of "whatever it  takes" to float my boat--once we yield to the great Satanic snare that the ends justify the means, so many God-given protections and hedges have been overriden. God help us for hearing what we want to and telling ourselves it is Him.
Be thick skinned and tender hearted with each other. Stop being so easily offended. Love covers a multitude of sins....judgment comes.  Give others the mercy and space you beg for and expect. Stop trying to kill each other spiritually and emotionally..
May the Lord keep each of you in perfect peace who attempt to stay your mind on Him. I would like to report one of the most delightful ministry experiences of my we baptized a family of five together. The dad was baptized first and then assisted in the baptism of his wife, then both of them assisted in the baptism of their three children. Oh my!
I commit each of you and yours into the merciful care of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Read Jude and Psalm 59.
