Prophet Grady and Prophetess Frances Lloyd
August 8, 2013
Grady is getting better day by day. I am seeing him as much as possible in the ICU still while doing my best to keep the minister working. Grady is talking and ask for his cell phone. That is a good sign. Amen? This lesson is written by Dr Jay Snell. I felt led to send it to you. It is excellent.
Remember what we have taught you about the grafting.
We Christians are grafted into the promises of the Abrahamic covenant right along with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all Israel. When God promises a blessing to the Abrahamic Seed Group in the Old Testament, we Christians are grafted into that same promise. If the context absolutely screams no, then we attribute a particular promise to the time in which it was written. Most, however, are applicable to Christians today.
Now here are some dynamic healing promises that include you and yours.
Romans 8:32 "He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?"
Since God gave the life of his only begotten son for us, does it make any sense that he would deny us anything less? He gave the ultimate gift. Why would He not give us the lesser gifts like healing?
Psalms 34:10 "...they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing."
Seeking the Lord is the key to all good things. Jesus himself said for us to seek and keep on keeping on keeping on keeping on seeking. If we do, we shall find what we are seeking. Here the Psalmist said seeking the Lord shields us from wanting any good thing, which includes healing.
Psalms 103:3 "Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;"
God is the one who forgives all our iniquities but we seem to forget that he also healeth all our diseases. How many of our diseases does he heal? All of them.
Isaiah 53:4 "Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows:"
Look at the words griefs and sorrows. Now change them in your mind to mean sicknesses, pains, diseases, infirmities etc. Yes, Jesus bore all these things for us on the cross. Now we do not have to bear them ourselves. He already has already borne them for us.
Isaiah 53:5 "With his stripes we are healed."
They almost beat Jesus to death with Roman whips with multiple pieces of it containing metal, rock or bone fragments. His flesh was ripped off when these whips struck it. These are the stripes that Isaiah said God uses to justify our healing today.
Romans 8:2 "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death."
Ask yourself this question! Since Jesus is alive in heaven now, is he ever sick? Absolutely not! Life in Christ is sickness free. In addition, this is made into an eternal law. It is now the Law that Jesus is never sick in heaven.
Therefore, we are free from the old law that said sickness was something we had to live with all our life.
2 Corinthians 2:14 "Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ."
Sometimes it seems as though we spend part of our time on our back, knocked down by the devil himself.
Remember this, however! Through it all, God causes us to triumph in Christ. We shall emerge victorious. We shall be the ultimate winner.
1 John 3:8 "For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil."
Common sense demand the view that sickness is one of the works of the devil. Since the very purpose for the manifestation of the Son of God was to destroy the works of the devil, He destroyed all forms of sicknesses!
This is also part and parcel of the law of the Spirit of the life in Christ in Romans 8:2 above. That Jesus is never sick in heaven is a law of the Spirit.
The life Jesus has in heaven is being communicated in us by the Spirit as I write these words.
3 John 1:2 "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."
The thing John wished above all is this: He wanted us to prosper and to be in good health. Many seem to want us to be content with our sickness and just praise God while we are sick. This is not the desire of John¯s heart. He wished above all things that we would, not only prosper, but also have and possess good health.
Why do some people wish for something other than what John wished for us?
1 Peter 2:24 "By whose stripes ye were healed."
You will recall Isaiah 53:5 above in which Isaiah said that by His stripes we are healed. Notice the present tense word are.
Now Peter quotes Isaiah almost verbatim with one basic change. Isaiah said we are healed by his stripes and Peter said we were healed by Jesus¯ stripes.
We are healed! We were healed! Praise God!
This has been one of the easiest to remember, the easiest to use and the most powerful healing Scripture I know about. Learn to speak these two Scriptures out loud to your sickness.
Isaiah 40:29 "He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength."
The Apostle Paul came into this same experience as he grappled with his famous thorn. Read the 2 Corinthian passage below.
2 Corinthians 12:8-10 KJV
8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
When Paul was backed into a corner and lacked the strength to get himself out, in his weakness God sent a power tent to settle over him. In this tent of power, Jesus did for him what he could not do for himself. Jesus did, in fact get rid of Paul¯s thorn and kept it off him the rest of his life.
Jeremiah 30:17 "I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds."
Unless the context emphatically, absolutely demands otherwise, healing promises made to the Abrahamic Seed Group in the Old Testament include us Christians in the New Testament era. This is because we Christians are grafted into the Abrahamic covenant right along with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob etc. Of course, Jeremiah¯s statement concerning the restoring of the health and the increasing of strength include us Christians by the new birth and grafting.
Matthew 8:17 "Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses."
This is Matthew¯s quote of Isaiah 53:4 above in which the translators used griefs and sorrows to translate the Hebrew words for infirmities and sicknesses. As we said above, Jesus bore these things for us so we would not need to bear them ourselves.
Romans 8:26 "The Spirit also helpeth our infirmities."
Infirmities is two Greek words combined into one. It is the word for absence or none with the word for strength. Consequently, infirmities means no strength or weakness. This word is translated many times with the word sickness.
Helpethabove is an usual Greek word. Let me just say that an infirmity or weakness or sickness can expect the Holy Ghost to grab hold of it and get rid of it.
This is the simplified meaning of the word helpeth. Yes! The Spirit helpeth our sicknesses.
Isaiah 40:31 "They that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength."
Waiting upon the Lord is absolutely necessary for a supernatural renewing of strength.
There is a difference between just taking a rest and waiting on the Lord. Just taking a rest is wonderful as it enables the body and mind to naturally regenerate themselves. But a deliberate waiting upon the Lord is a supernatural act that does more than just taking a rest. It is true that it encompasses the natural regeneration processes of the mind and body. But it contains more than this.
It also contains a supernatural power brought on by the deliberate act of waiting on the Lord. Put the two together, and things happen. The body is naturally rested but it is also charged with power from on high. Learn to wait upon the Lord.
Matthew 15:13 "Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up."
Our heavenly father does not plant sickness. He does not plant disease. Therefore, sickness and disease shall be rooted up. Speak this out loud to the sick plants Satan tries to plant in our bodies.
Romans 8:11 "He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you."
God raised Christ up from the dead by His Spirit. Furthermore, he shall indeed quicken (make alive) our mortal body by his Spirit that dwells in us.
We don¯t have to quicken our own body, He does it for us with the same power and method He used when He raised Christ from the dead.
Our bodies cannot always throw off the sicknesses Satan puts upon us.
But we don¯t have to throw them off ourselves. God exercised a power in the borrowed tomb that he repeats concerning sickness.
His Spirit performs for your mortal body the same thing He did in the tomb. He threw death right out and Jesus rose. He will throw sickness right out of your body and you will rise up minus your sickness.
Proverbs 3:7-8 "Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones."
Three things here that turns into health for us. (1.) Do not think more of our wisdom than we should. (2.) Fear the Lord. This should go without saying it but so many times we fail to give God the respect he should have. (3.) Depart from evil or do our very best to stop sinning, but when we do sin, perform 1 John 1:9. ¯If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us oursins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.¯
Proverbs 4:20-22 "My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh."
Two more things here that turns to our life and our health. (1.) Attend to God¯s words. (2. Listen closely to His sayings.
These two things are life to all those that find them. They are also health to the flesh of all those who find them.
This all implies some more attention given to what God says in His word. This implies also that more seeking and finding is involved. Start seeking and finding life and health follows close behind.
Psalms 91:3 "Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence."
In Psalms 91:3 above, I like the word surely! Surely God shall deliver us from the snare of the fowler. Surely He will deliver us from the noisome pestilence.
Surely He will do it! Many times the snare of the fowler is our sickness. Many times the noisome pestilence is also our sickness.
Psalms 42:11 "Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God."
We must learn that God is the health of our countenance and our God. This specifically eliminates our job, our business and our government as our hope. God is where our hope is.
2 Timothy 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."
Fear comes not from God. Rather, He gives us the Spirit of power, love and a sound mind.
When anything else comes along, Satan planted it. God did not plant it. We operate in power, love and a mind that is sound.
Speak this verse to this fear. Speak it out loud. Say it like you mean it.
Psalms 107:20 "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."
This is one of my favorite Scriptures. It is so simple but so powerful. First, the simple part: He sent his word!
Now the powerful part: (1.) He healed them! (2.) He delivered them from their destructions.
That same word He sent way back in Psalms 107:20 has never left us. This same word is still here. And this same word still heals us and delivers us from our destructions! Praise God.
Jeremiah 33:6 "Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
Jeremiah has the divided kingdoms of Judah and Israel on his heart in Jeremiah 33:6 above. Furthermore, he prays for the captivities of both kingdoms to come to an end so He can bring them both back together as one kingdom.
For these reasons, God says He will bring both Judah and Israel the blessings of health and cure. He says bluntly, ¯I will cure them.¯ He also says he will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth they seem to have forgotten.
If He was so willing to cure them who were so wicked of old, He will do the same for us because we are grafted into the same Abrahamic Seed Group. If God did these things for the same group back then, He will surely do them for us.
2 Thessalonians 3:3 "But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil."
The faithfulness of God establishes us. Faithfulness means that God performs the same way all the time if the same circumstances are presented to him.
His faithfulness not establishes us, it also keeps us from evil. This means he keeps evil from attaching us.
What would our end be if God was not providing this evil protecting shield for us?
Psalms 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
When trouble comes our way, God is a very present help in the time frame of whatever trouble confronts us.
Since he is our help in present time, we can, like Psalmist, declare that he is our refuge and our strength.
Again, our refuge and strength is not our job, our business or our government. It is our God.
Exodus 15:26 "I will put none of these diseases upon thee...for I am the LORD that healeth thee."
When it comes to the Abrahamic Seed Group with Christians included, let it be known once and for all that God puts no diseases on us! He is not the putter upon of diseases, He is the LORD that heals us! Praise God! He heals us and puts no disease upon any of Abraham¯s Seed Group.
Deuteronomy 7:15 "And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee."
Our heavenly Father will by no means for any reason put any one of the evil diseases of Egypt upon any member of the Abrahamic Seed Group! No, not even one!
In addition, He will take away from us all sicknesses. How many sicknesses will He take away from us? Every single one of them. This is awesome!
Psalms 121:2 "My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth."
Notice here again that our help comes from our heavenly father. It does not come from our job, our business or our government. It comes from God. After all, He made heaven and earth. Does our job, business or government have this much power?
Psalms 119:50 "This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me."
The word mentioned in this verse is the same word God sent to heal them. Here again is proof the word is still here to heal us. This same word quickened (made alive) the Psalmist. This healing, quickening word was his comfort.
