Ministry News
Operation Christmas Child
The time is upon us to pack shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan's Purse.  We will be having our packing party in Children's Church on November 3rd.  The children will be filling boxes with small items (school supplies, toys, hygiene products, and candy) that will be shipped to children in impoverished situations.  Each box will also contain a message explaining the gospel in the child's native language.  If you would like to participate with us in the ministry you can do so three different ways:

Prayer for Second Global Anglican Future Conference
The Second Global Anglican Future Conference will be held in Nairobi, Kenya, 21st-26th October 2013. The theme for the conference is ¯Making Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.¯

According to Archbishop of Kenya, Eliud Wabukala, the purpose for the assembly is ¯to listen to God, to pray, to deliberate, and to plan about the Anglican future, seeing it as a great spiritual and missionary fellowship, energized by the defense and proclamation of the gospel.¯

Each week we will be asking IAC to join together in lifting up specific prayer points for the conference. This week please pray for:

  • give thanks for the release of Archbishop Kattey
    ¯
  • final travel and visa arrangments
    ¯
  • financial generosity to cover all costs
    ¯
  • God¯s blessing on the conference and its outcomes
