Times of Transition

The Church has been in an extended time of transition into the more glorious Church
that is emerging. Many are seeking the new expression, what it will look like and
when it will come?
In this time of seeking to usher in the new era church, there are some things we can
be doing to be prepared. The sons of Issachar knew by the word of Samuel that the time
of transition of kings had come. Unlike other tribes who were indecisive of the times,
Issachar showed up fully ready.
Now these were the number of the divisions that were equipped for war, and came to
David to turn over the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of the Lord.
(1 Chron. 12:23).
Of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to what Israel ought to
do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their command.
(1 Chron. 12:32).
First, notice that the tribes showed up "fully equipped" for the transition. This is
how we ought to be as well. Fully equipped and trained in the gifts and graces of the
Holy Spirit.
Secondly, notice that transition may be resisted as we change from the old guard to
the new; they came "equipped for war". Letting go of those things that have held on,
to the past, may be difficult but necessary if change is to occur.

Lastly, as you read through first Chronicles chapter 12, you will notice that many
tribes sent just a portion of troops for the transition, just in case it wasn't really
time, they could still show loyalty to Saul, all that is except Issachar. They were
all in, nothing held back. After they weighed in, notice the increase of troops from
the other tribes.
I believe we are at the place, it is time to be "all in", "fully equipped". And those
with the Issachar understanding of the times begin to lead the way! The more glorious
church shall come forth.
I have just published a new book entitled Prophetic Surges available now. I attempt to
give language and strategy for the emerging more glorious church. I believe its time
to change.
May you have a thankful and Happy Thanksgiving and joyful Hanukkah!
