One of Global Reach Network’s ministry partners in Haiti has asked for assistance, and we’re praying you can help us meet their need. Director Claude of La Ruche Enchantee Christian Schools shared with me that he has been waiting for musical instruments since 2004. They need musical instruments in good working condition to teach their students. To help them with this specific need, Global Reach Network is engaging in a summer collection of non-electrical musical instruments, music books and audio equipment for their use. If you have used, fully-functional equipment (especially non-electrical instruments) and you are willing to donate them, please send them to Global Reach Network before August 31 and we will pack and ship them to Haiti on your behalf.
Key items on their wish list include:
- Trumpets, flutes and other brass instruments
- Clarinets, Saxophones and other woodwind / brasswind instruments
- Small drums (no large drum kits, please)
- Small PA (speaker/microphone) system – battery power backup is particularly useful
- Training books for instrument use (basics through advanced)
International shipping to remote locations often involves rigorous travel, so please include the hard case if you instrument includes one. We want to ensure these valuable musical gifts reach our ministry partner in great condition.
Please contact our office at 412-771-2775 or email@example.com to make arrangements for your musical instrument(s).
And if you don't have an instrument but would still like to help these young folks, you are welcome to send a financial gift with a note "Haiti Make a Joyful Noise".
