We are beginning our Transformation Weekend starting this very day. We are calling on all of you to pray for a God-infusion for His Highest Praise International, Hawaii, our nation, and the world.
This Saturday, we are having a Celebration of Life service for our own Pastor Kanani Akau, the daughter-pastor of Kahu Abraham Akau Sr. and Fanny Akau. The service starts at 10:30 a.m. at Borthwick Mortuary. It is not a sad occasion, but a celebration and we are coming together to honor Kanani's promotion in Jesus Christ.
Also on Saturday, our New Zealand delegates are coming in and will be with us for church service in Honolulu this Sunday at our 10 a.m. service at Kauluwela School. We are so overjoyed to reconnect with our New Zealand delegates. Our Christopher Yuen will be preaching this Sunday.
At 4 p.m. Sunday, all participants of TC17 will have a rehearsal. Praise teams, solos, specials, exhortations, moderators, and all who are involved with the Transformation Conference which officially starts October 11 through October 15 will gather to practice as ONE BODY.
While at our weekly prayer meeting this week, one of our prayer warriors, Jim Lucas, shared a verse that made such an impact on me personally, a verse that I would like to share with all of you.
It is found in Hebrews 6:10-11.
10 God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
11 We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized.
I want to encourage all of you who have labored yet not in vain, for the countless hours that you have given to the ministry of the church and to put this Transformation Conference 2017 together. For the many times we met at Ranch 99 or my residence to go over all of the details of the conference, but not for the conference alone. I want to thank all of you for what you do for the Lord's house and the people of the Lord's house. Our recent laulau fundraisers and for the personal sacrifices you all are making for His Highest Praise International.
Look at the promises of the Word of God.
God is not unjust. If you sow bountifully, you reap bountifully. And you have sown bountifully for the harvest.
God has seen that you love Him by serving His people: both the lost through the sharing of the good news and to the body of Christ. And not just for a season, but you continue to serve Him and others now. For the many of you who came to our Kamakee Church facility to pack twenty-five years of "things" and put them in storage or the containers, for those who continue to serve God in whatever capacity you are called to, God says to you, HE SEES WHAT YOU DO AND HE WILL HONOR YOU. God is just and He will give you the things you hope for, the blessings on yourself, your family and loved ones, your life and the lives of others.
So as we begin this Transformation Week, count it all joy when you serve the Lord. The Lord loveth a cheerful giver. Give cheerfully and celebrate your worship as unto the Lord.
To the ushers, security, frontline, facility coordination, praise and worship teams, specials, and speakers, give your service cheerfully as unto the Lord.
God sees your love for Him as He sees your love for others. As you do it unto the least among us, you do it as unto the Lord (Scripture), for nothing is least to God!
Blessings to you all as we begin TRANSFORMATION WEEK today!
It is God's good pleasure to give us THE KINGDOM!
Aloha to all,
Adrian Yuen, Ph.D.
