Will The Real Moshiach Please Stand Up
Recently there has been a wave of excitement rushing throughout Israel, and across the Internet to the far parts of the western world regarding a revelation from Israel's oldest and most revered Kabalistic Rabbi  Yitzakh Kaduri ( Rabbi Kaduri Passed Away on January 28th, 2006).  The revelation is basically this.
Before he died he said that he had recently met the Messiah. He told his disciples that he would leave a written note with the mystery code of the identity of the Messiah written out.  And he had them promise that this note was not to be opened until one year after his death.
It is now a year later, and the note has been opened, and in it there were six words in Hebrew, stating, "He will lift the people and prove that His Word and Torah are valid." Taking the first letter of each of these six words (which was the code) spelled out the name "Yehoshua", a form of Jesus name in Hebrew.
An article published by a supposed Messianic Magazine printed here in Israel ( I say supposed because the publisher while claiming to be a believer denies the deity of Yeshua) says he conducted the interviews personally in which he discovered many of the Rabbis followers are either bewildered, but confirm the validity of the note, while others are calling the note a forgery. Either way, the debates have begun… did the Rabbi point his people to Yehoshua = Yeshua = Jesus?  The God of the Christians?
Yehoshua is the Hebrew form of the Aramaic Yeshua which Messianic Jews use for Jesus since His name would have been the Aramaic form (it is widely accepted that Jesus would have spoken Aramaic) Jesus is the anglicized version of the Greek translation of Yeshua – Iosus. Of course this speculation has Christians and Messianic Jews alike very excited, hoping that the Jews are about to realize the identity of their Messiah.
I can tell you it is not easy being the spoiler as so often I am… but I believe this is a deception, and it endangers Jews and Christians alike, and I will tell you why.
Let me start by giving you an excerpt of an article I wrote in 2005 on this very issue:
Excerpt from an article I published on October 7th, 2005, The Anti-Christ Cometh
Increasingly there has been talk of the coming Messiah, and in fact not long ago it was leaked that the Messiah had indeed come and was here in Israel waiting for the right time to be revealed.
This leak is a precursor to such an announcement, in what will no doubt be the very near future. It could be days or weeks, or it could be months or even a couple of years, but it will be at their earliest possible opportunity depending on prevailing circumstances, and I don't think it will be long.
I must say that the messiah they are talking about is NOT Yeshua. It stands to reason then that it must be an, or even possibly the Anti-Messiah.
Let me explain something about Kabbala. There is nothing scriptural or biblical about the practice of Kabbala. It is Persian mysticism brought from the Babylonian captivity, and it has been melded into rabbinic studies and teachings, so much so that to argue against it's Jewishness and biblical roots will bring an immediate and heated response from any religious Jew, and even many secular Jews. It is simply accepted by the majority that it is Jewish mysticism, which is quite acceptable as far as God is concerned, at least according to the Jews who believe in it.
Kabbala is devilish in its origins, and there is nothing acceptable about it. There are Kabbala centers all over Israel, and around the world, and true adherents are forced to awaken at around 3:00 to 4:00 A.M. and spend several hours in meditation, teachings, and repetitive chanting. Most do this before they then go on to work or school and then home to their families. They carry on regular lives while they are daily being sleep deprived and brain washed. It is highly dangerous.
The Jewish people around the world and particularly here in Israel are in a very ready state to accept the coming of the Anti-Christ. They are urgently seeking solutions for their problems, they want very much to see God deliver them and fulfill His promises, which because of the veil over their eyes, they cannot understand the fulfillment in the life, death, and resurrection of Yeshua. They are expecting a Messiah who will bring peace to the world, and who will restore Torah Law, and the priestly authority. When the false Messiah comes, it will be quite easy for the Jewish people to fall for his deception, and this Kabbalistic treachery is leading the way in preparing the Jewish people for the final false deliverer.
I want you to now read several quotes from Rabbi Kaduri prior to his death, and then I will give you my reasons for doubting the veracity of this claim. I know this is a long article, but please stick with me here, this is vitally important to understand.
The following are quotes taken from articles that appeared in Israel National News.

"We are now in the fourth year of what could be the seven-year Redemption period, according to the calculation of the Vilna Gaon. [However.] in the coming three years, uncertainty about the future will hang over our heads, unless we work and strive that the Messiah be revealed. The Messiah is already [here] in Israel."
Rabbi Kaduri has told his students that the current government will be the last one of the "old era," and that the new government will already have leadership of the Messianic era.

Rabbi Kaduri has told his students that the current government will be the last one of the "old era." He is on record as saying that Sharon will be the last prime minister in Israel, and that the new government will already have leadership of the Messianic era.

On Thursday night, Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri said, "Jews must come to the land of Israel to receive our righteous Mashiach (Messiah), who has begun his influence and will reveal himself in the future." It was during the meal after the 24-hour Yom Kippur fast that several followers approached the 104-year-old leading known Kabbalist Rabbi in Israel.
During the afternoon Mincha prayer on Yom Kippur, the Kabbalist scholar surprised his students and fellow worshippers with secrets relating to the coming of the Mashiach.
During the service, Rabbi Kaduri lowered his head and entered a deep mystical concentration which lasted uninterrupted for some 45 minutes. The Rabbi covered his eyes as though reciting the Sh'ma prayer and only his lips were seen moving. Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri covering his eyes in concentration Students who thought the elderly Rabbi was suffering an attack of sort tried to communicate with him, but he did not break his intense concentration for a moment, even to nod. Only after some 45 minutes, the Rabbi raised his head and looked around the room at the students and worshippers who were gathered at his Nachalat Yitzhak Yeshiva, in the Bucharim neighborhood of Jerusalem. With a broad smile on his face familiar to his students when he has a revelation, he declared, "With the help of G-d, the soul of the Mashiach has attached itself to a person in Israel" [In the original Hebrew: 'Hit'abra bezrat hashem nishmat mashiach b'adam m'yisrael'].
At the conclusion of his short declaration, murmuring was heard among the congregants as the Kabbalists' words were repeated for those who could not hear.Rabbi Kaduri has spoken repeatedly about the Final Redemption and referred to the calculations of the Vilna Gaon regarding the redemption, which appear in the Gaon's writings and are considered difficult to decipher. The Vilna Gaon (1720 - 1797) According to the writings of the Vilna Gaon, a sign of the Gog and Magog war is its breaking out on the Jewish holiday of Hoshana Rabba (the 7th day of the Sukkot holiday), just after the conclusion of the 7th or shemittah [agricultural sabbatical] year.
On September 24, 2001, Channel One Israel TV broadcast an item on what Torah and other mystics were saying in the wake of the World Trade Center attack. Speaking from the room adjacent to where Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri receives visitors, Arutz Sheva Hebrew radio showhost Yehoshua Meiri, a close confident of the Kabbalist, explained to the cameras Rabbi Kaduri's understanding of the events based on the calculations of the Vilna Gaon: "On Hashanah Rabba, the actual war of Gog and Magog will commence and will last for some seven years," said Meiri.
According to the calculation, a 7-year count from that Hoshana Rabba is the date of a major revelation associated with Mashiach. Those close to Rabbi Kaduri say in his name that the 5th year of this redemption process is now beginning. They explain that the above-mentioned "attaching" of a righteous soul to a person of Israel makes the recipient a candidate for Mashiach, but not yet the actual Mashiach. This person gets an additional soul which finds expression in the adding of a letter to his name, without changing its pronunciation. The elder Rabbi Kaduri says that the letter added to this person's name is "vav" and the secret of his power is a Star of David hidden in his attire.

Students of the righteous rabbi say that the blessing of the Ben Ish Chai (considered the leading rabbi of Sephardic Jewry, d. 1904) and that of the Lubavitcher Rebbe - both of whom blessed him that he might live to see the Final Redeemer - came true. The rabbi's closest followers say that Rabbi Kaduri told them he met the Messiah on Cheshvan 9, 5764 (Nov. 4, 2003). He reportedly said that the Messiah is not promoting himself, and that a study of his [Rabbi Kaduri's] words in recent months would provide hints of his identity.

"He is not saying, 'I am the Mashiach, give me the leadership.' Rather the nation is pushing him to lead them, after they find [in my words] signs showing that he has the status of Mashiach." So said Rabbi Kaduri to one of his close relatives.

Rabbi Kaduri was also quoted of late as saying that the imminent arrival of the Mashiach will "save Jerusalem from Islam and Christianity that wish to take Jerusalem from the Jewish Nation - but they will not succeed, and they will fight each other."

This past Yom Kippur, shortly after Hurricane Katrina, Rabbi Kaduri said, "Jews must come to the land of Israel to receive our righteous Mashiach, who has begun his influence and will reveal himself in the future."
According to translations of messages on his website; kaduri.net, Kaduri said this about the coming Messiah:
"It is hard for many good people in society to understand the person of the Messiah. The leadership and order of a Messiah of flesh and blood is hard to accept for many in the nation. As leader, the Messiah will not hold any office, but will be among the people and use the media to communicate. His reign will be pure and without personal or political desire. During his dominion, only righteousness and truth will reign.  Will all believe in the Messiah right away? No, in the beginning some of us will believe in him and some not.  It will be easier for non-religious people to follow the Messiah than for Orthodox people.

The revelation of the Messiah will be fulfilled in two stages: First, he will actively confirm his position as Messiah without knowing himself that he is the Messiah. Then he will reveal himself to some Jews, not necessarily to wise Torah scholars. It can be even simple people. Only then he will reveal himself to the whole nation. 'The people will wonder and say 'What? That's the Messiah?' Many have known his name but have not believed that he is the Messiah."
"Wow" say many Christians and Messianic Jews… that sounds like Jesus. Well… I say it sounds a little like him during His first advent, but not according to scripture in the time of His second coming.
First of all, Yeshua never doubted who He was. He demonstrated this knowledge even when He was twelve and remained in the Temple, teaching the Rabbis' of the day, when His parents came looking for Him and He said, "Did you not know that I would be in my Fathers house?"
What many will miss in these statements by Rabbi Kaduri, if they are not aware of the Kabbalists view of the Messiah, is that they believe that he can be anyone, at any time. They believe that he is merely a man, who is righteous enough to merit being appointed as the Messiah, and that a second and totally separate spirit will enter him and posses the man who will then have to prove himself worthy for a time before he actually becomes the Messiah and is revealed. When he is revealed, he will then bring the world under rabbinic rule and enforce Torah law as interpreted by the ruling rabbis, likely in the renewed Sanhedrin. This is NOT Yeshua, Jesus, even if his name is Yehoshua.
It would not surprise me at all that their would be a messianic figure arise who claims to be Yeshua, and that he will lead secular, religious, Jews and Christians into following him and claiming that he is the true Yehoshua. I see gentiles ("Christians") who want to place themselves under the bondage of rabbinic Judaism all the time, and they are falling further and further into apostasy, and they will embrace this "Revelation" without once comparing it to their TRUE REVELATION.
I want to give you a bit of that revelation here, and then ask you to take the time and see if you think that the two revelations are in accordance with the Day of the Lord that we are all looking forward to with baited breath?
Let me say this, I have prayed daily for years for the lifting of the veil from the eyes of the Jewish people, and I have preached that Jesus, Yeshua will not return until the Jewish people are saved and cry out Baruch ha ba b'Shem Adonai, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord, and I still anticipate that day with great expectation. But I am also aware that before that happens there will be a great falling away, and many will be deceived, and that the Kaduri "Yehoshua" and the biblical revelation of Yeshua are not the same.
Jesus knows who He is. He will not come and reveal Himself a little at a time. People will not take their time to accept Him. He will not save Jerusalem from Christianity as Kaduri said.  No, Jesus will return in a great cloud of witnesses, His coming will be seen by every living being on earth as lightening crosses the sky from east to west. His coming will herald the great and final trumpet and will bring judgment to the earth. Every one will know exactly who He is at His coming. He will not save Jerusalem from Christianity, He will establish His righteous kingdom on earth.
We must know our bible, we must know our God, we must stand on truth… and if every person on this planet claims this man is the Messiah, if everyone stones me for denying it, I will tell even him the truth as revealed in the Bible, that only Yeshua, the living Son of God is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
"Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here [is] Christ, or there; believe [it] not.For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, [he is] in the secret chambers; believe [it] not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." Matthew 24:23-31
Please do not be deceived, but test the spirits as we are warned to do. Pray that others would not be deceived, and especially pray for the Jewish people who are being influenced by this right now. I have friends who are in the process of coming to Yeshua as I write this, and I am afraid they are going to be turned in the wrong direction.
Israel desperately needs Yeshua (which means salvation) but they need the real Yeshua and not some imitation. Pray that they would know their real Messiah, and that they would cry out from Jerusalem, Baruch h ba b'Shem Adonai.  Then the world will truly be at peace.
Pesach Sameach (Happy Passover) and Resurrection Day.
