This is from our good friends in Israel, Mike and Angela Hersch. Their son, Danny, was recently hit by a car and miraculously survived the accident. Mike and Angela are Messianic Jews, and their website is found here:
Please join with us in prayer for Danny and Elisha, after reading below:
Dear friends,
First, we want to say thank you for the outpouring of prayer and concern for Danny. We printed out your emails and gave them to Danny. ...

Rodney, a living Miracle!

Posted Oct 3rd 2008, 10:31 by Fruit of the Spirit on Christian Living

Dear Friends,
Thank you for your prayers. The Lord has done a wonderful, wonderful thing in Rodney's life. He was able to go home today!
The doctors had said that Rodney would probably need long term care, if he survived. They said that he would probably have brain damage and would need alot of attention for a long time, if he survived.
Well, God is healing Rodney and we are so thankful and give Him all the glory, honor and...

Update on Rodney

Posted Sep 28th 2008, 10:56 by Fruit of the Spirit on Christian Living

Dear Friends in Christ,
Thank you for your prayers! We just returned from a visit with Rodney, our dear friend who God brought back to us and is recovering in ICU.
I am happy to say that he is beginning to show signs of life and I actually saw him smile at his wife yesterday! My wife and I made eye contact with him quite a few times over the past two days and I believe that he was trying...

Please Pray for Rodney

Posted Sep 26th 2008, 12:35 by Fruit of the Spirit on Christian Living

Dear Friends in Christ,
Please pray for our dear friend, Rodney. He is presently in intensive care, on life support, in a sedated coma. Rodney was delivered from drugs and alcohol a few years ago by the grace of God. He was saved by the blood of Jesus and baptized by water and fire.
On Monday morning, his wife found him on the couch, un-responsive and not breathing. His heart had stopped beating and his face had turned...

My heart is surely hurting today! Martin was what I consider to be a spiritual father in the prophetic for me. I took his School of the Prophets course on prophecy/prophets and he was the one that encouraged me to start my InJesus site. He told me I had a unique style of writing that should be shared and would encourage me and...

Eternal Life

Posted Sep 16th 2008, 06:35 by Fruit of the Spirit on Christian Living

Sometimes I feel like the only thing keeping me from falling away from the Truth I have within me is the opportunity to sin. I guess it becomes easy to live a righteous life when everything that life holds is clean and sterile and fluffy. But I want more than puffball christianity. I want depth and realness and hunger. I want to look back on my life knowing that I kicked the enemy's teeth in. ...

A Heart For Honduras

A Heart For Honduras
I am officially home now, but a big piece of me is still in Honduras. I am trying to process all that I saw and heard and felt. My heart is breaking and broken and filled with passion and pain.
I guess I thought that we would be going down to help these poor, brown people find Jesus and get saved and learn to live the "right" way like us. I was going to rescue...

Walking In God's Favor

Posted Aug 31st 2008, 08:25 by Fruit of the Spirit on Christian Living

We are leaving late tonight (really early Monday morning) to head to the airport. I know the group I am going with through our church, however, I don't really know a couple of them at all. I do feel a little nervous, but at the same time, I feel a sense of eagerness. Not like the day before "vacation", this is a softer feeling and more of a tugging or pulling. Like the Lord has prepared...

Please pray for Cassandra (my wife), Sam, Lynda, Janis, Lesa, Eli, and Steve. They are leaving for a missions trip to Honduras late tomorrow night and will be gone for 10 days.
They will be going to a hospital to pray for sick kids, pass out blankets and food, toys, and supplies. They will also be building a house for a family and a building for an orphanage there. They will be going to minister to families at...

The Mountain of the Lord

The Mountain of the Lord
The air was warm and breezy, and the sky was clear. As many as 60 people, including babies and children, had gathered behind the little brick house in the country, and now they were milling about, grabbing a cool drink or nibbling on a carrot or a cookie, and preparing to go up The Hill.
The Hill was what had brought everyone together that bright June afternoon. We would all go up The Hill and...

The glue that holds us together

A couple of days ago I was running (I use that term very loosely) on my treadmill, watching a DVD
sermon by Louie Giglio...and I was BLOWN AWAY! I want to share what I learned....but I fear not
being able to convey it as well as I want. I will share anyway.
He (Louie) was talking about how inconceivably BIG our God He spoke the universe into He breathes stars out of His mouth that are huge raging balls...
