How Do We Become New Creatures in Christ?
Dorothy J. Lee

The more I see Christians struggling in their walk and the more I hear prophets and other ministers ‘ messages, the more I realize that there are not a lot of Overcomers experiencing the new life the Lord has promised us.

In each of my writings, I have been attempting to give different aspects of discipleship truths in order to help the Body of Christ obtain their inheritance so they can be His Bride and His Son.

Today’s writing includes a list of scriptures and commandments that I have compiled to help those in the Body of Christ who are pursuing God, but find themselves falling short of victory (looking like Jesus) and wondering why.  If we take His commandments to heart and practice praying and “doing” them, they will eventually bring us to the place of revelation and the New Life we are promised in Him.

Generally speaking, we either dismiss the commandments because we don’t understand their significance in our salvation; or we take those favorite scriptures of our denomination or of our own choice and try to “live” by those; or we give up and feel condemned because we can’t change ourselves.  But by properly relating to all His commandments, we will have the promised results of peace, joy and love in our lives because the seeds of those fruits are in the Words we live (eat).

I have compiled a short checklist which could help you.  Please pray over each point and see whether you are living that Word, and if not, then ask Him to give you revelation and start practicing them as He leads.  The list is to help you know what might be lacking in your walk.  We must pray into areas of the Word where we have no illumination and not just overlook those areas.  We have to do what the Word is telling us to do and not just "knowing" about the Word.
