Part 2- The Year 2006 Given these verses, I believe it is safe to say that myrrh is symbolic of intimacy. And so for us, He has called us to a place of intimacy with Him. Today He is beckoning us to a place of intimate worship, as He calls out to us "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." (Song of Solomon 2:10) There are a people who are responding to His call for intimate worship, as they say "Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for your love is better than wine. Because of the savor of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth." (Song of Solomon 1:2-3) The throne of King Solomon's temple had six steps leading to it. I Kings 10:18-20 Moreover, the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with the best gold. The throne had six steps, and the top of the throne was round behind; and thee were stays on either side on the place of the seat, and two lions stood beside the stays. And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps; there was not the like made in any kingdom. Jesus spoke to the woman at the well at the 6th hour John 4: 6Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied from His journey, sat thus by the well. It was about the sixth hour. 7A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, "Give Me a drink." 8For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food. 9Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, "How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?" For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans. 10Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water." Jesus was on the Cross 6 hours. There were 3 hours of darkness
