COMPASS (Communities Promoting A Safer Society), a nonprofit that confronts the epidemic of Sexual Abuse and Domestic & Dating Violence in our society and the church will be conducting a workshop on abuse at Kempsville Presbyterian Church on September the 19th. Proceeds from said workshop will be used to help fund our operating expenses. Please promote the following announcement:
“Rev. Joseph Paluszak of COMPASS (Communities Promoting A Safer Society), will be presenting a Healing and Wholeness Workshop For Survivors of Sexual Abuse and Domestic & Dating Violence, at Kempsville Presbyterian Church, 805 Kempsville Road, Virginia Beach, Saturday, September the 19th, starting at 9:00 A.M. and ending at 4:00 P.M. This Bible based workshop will reveal God’s healing grace for survivors, equip pastors and laity to minister comfort to victims, and dismantle the religious roadblocks that stymie God’s healing grace. Vital for all pastors, lay ministers, therapists and rape crisis/domestic violence workers, and a must for all survivors. There is no admission charge, a freewill offering will be taken.
