E-Meditation: Power & Strength

Hello Gang, I'm Pastor David Burns with the E-Meds and it's good to with you today.

"Being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience..."(Colossians 1:11).

Hallelujah! What a Savior we have in Jesus. Through His death, burial and resurrection we have been so filled with the power of God! We walk in faith and victory. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. We delight in His presence knowing that we serve Him with a clear conscience and pure heart.

I love Colossians 1:11 because it teaches me that I am strengthened with His power, according to His glorious might that I am able to have great endurance and patience.

When we press in toward God, hid beneath His wing, and allow Him to cut away from our flesh all that is at odds with Him, He then fills us with strength and power. If we refuse His power, and try to walk in our own strength it will become our undoing. Pride will overtake us and we will lack true endurance and become grossly impatient.

Today, pray over Colossians 1:11 and ask the LORD to cut away in you that which hinders His power and strength to do its work in you today!

Dear LORD, my only hope of delighting in serving You and others is when the source is Your strength and power, not my own. Cut away that which is within me that hinders me from receiving Your strength and power. In Jesus' Mighty Name, AMEN!

Re-arranging my life for Christ,

David L. Burns
