To:  Urban Ministries Hotline Subscribers

The Hotline is taking a break until early in August. We will be back in action at that time. In the meantime, Charlie and I are looking forward to our train trip to Florida to visit my sister and brother and their spouses.

Thank you for being part of the Hotline and for the part you play in allowing the Lord to use it to be a blessing to so many. It belongs to God and I am just blessed to be the facilitator. Please feel free to use it whenever you have a need or resource that you need to let others know about.

Take care and enjoy your summer, which seems to be flying by. Every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before.

First Mennonite Church, 60l East Parham Road, has about 80 metal framed chairs with padded seats and backs (brown) that we are willing to provide to a church or organization who can use them. They have a book rack under the seat as well as a place for communion cups.  They are well used with some staining on the fabric, but are sturdy and comfortable.  If interested, contact Hazel Bowman at or to schedule a time to see the chairs contact
