 Hello. My name is Myra Hayes and my mother and I are working on a starting a small family day care. We are in need of several items in addition to the few things that we currently have. The items we are in need of are as follows:

1. 3 to 4 preschool/kindergarten child-sized tables.

2. 5 to 8 small chairs either plastic or wooden.

3. 3 to 6 small child accessible storage shelves (appropriate for an activity center).

4. 2 large "area" carpets (circle/quiet time)

5. Children's cubbies/lockers

6. 4 step stools.

7. Art Supplies: paper, paints. etc.

8. Sets of blocks, train sets, other toys appropriate for daycares.

9. Play kitchen set and accessories.

10. Educational manipulatives (for math, science, etc. preschool to 2nd grade)

11. Children's books (preschool to 2nd grade)

12. Any other items appropriate daycare/childcare items.

Since we are just starting up, donations would be greatly appreciated but we are willing to pay a reasonable price for items also. Please contact me via email at or via cell 804-306-4356. In addition to email, I can also receive text messages.

 The Grace Covenant Community School is now accepting registrations for the 2012-2013 school year. The School offers a

developmentally appropriate preschool program for three and four year olds and Pre-kindergarten instruction for five year olds. Classes run 9 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Monday Friday, from Sept. May. Parents have the choice of enrolling their children for 3 days per week (Tues., Wed., Thurs.) or all 5 days. Activities include music, movement, art, outdoor play (weather permitting) and trips to the library. The school is located at First Mennonite Church, 601 E. Parham Rd. (between Brook Rd. & Chamberlayne) and is convenient to I-95, I-295, & I-64. Limited scholarships are available.

After-school care for elementary students is also available, with pick-up provided at several Henrico County Schools.
