Kibali Alive! ¯ Sister Church Breakfast Series - This Sunday!
Join us for a before-church breakfast series: 8:30-9:30 on October 13 and 20 in Fellowship Hall

As a Rwandan church, we are united with our Rwandan sisters and brothers in the Lord. Through our Sister Church relationship with Kibali Parish, we are actually one church family, living on two continents!

Want to know more? Come and learn about our Sister Parish and see for yourself what the Lord is doing in Rwanda. Learn about real people from Kibali. Meet Pastor Justin, Bishop Emmanuel and others who pray for us as we pray for them. Hear from some of our own who have traveled to Kigali to share their hearts, time, and talents with our Rwandan brothers and sisters in the Lord. Childcare will be available, if requested in advance. Stay tuned for more information!

Retreat RE-Rescheduled!
We have rescheduled the retreat at Quaker Ridge to April 24-27, 2014. We look forward to what the Lord might do during this time and will provide more details as they become available.

Well of Life Anglican Church

Prayer for Second Global Anglican Future Conference
The Second Global Anglican Future Conference will be held in Nairobi, Kenya, 21st-26th October 2013. The theme for the conference is ¯Making Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.¯

According to Archbishop of Kenya, Eliud Wabukala, the purpose for the assembly is ¯to listen to God, to pray, to deliberate, and to plan about the Anglican future, seeing it as a great spiritual and missionary fellowship, energized by the defense and proclamation of the gospel.¯

Each week we will be asking IAC to join together in lifting up specific prayer points for the conference. This week please pray for:

  • give thanks for the release of Archbishop Kattey
  • final travel and visa arrangments
  • financial generosity to cover all costs
  • God¯s blessing on the conference and its outcomes

Center on Just Living - This Saturday!
Come and See and Lend a Hand - You heard Gerrit refer to it last Sunday in his sermon: The Center on Just Living's newly purchased building on Platte Avenue.
What is it? It is a gathering place to enable IAC to be an incarnational presence in the community with a bent toward justice and restoration of creation.

BYOG - bring your own gloves (and clippers) - we have loads of weeds to pull and cut and barbed wire fence and posts to take down in the location that will become a community garden and gathering spot for fellowship, cook-outs, and outdoor concerts.
BYOS - bring yummy omnifarious snacks - with some to share!
Lunch will be provided from noon to 1:00.
