Thanksgiving will soon be upon us and once again I have turned my thoughts to all the great things He has done for me. This weekend we will be celebrating 25 years of Eagle Rock. 25 years ago we began Bible studies in my living room. We eventually outgrew the living room and moved to the basement. In the basement of my home for almost a year, we had church. We had worship, preaching teaching and prayer. It was an amazing time. 24 years ago we held our first service at our current location. When I stepped on the property the Lord told me that this was the place of His choosing. We made an offer and 24 years later what was worth $40,000 has grown to being worth $700,000. God is good. Even though over the years the enemy has tried to remove me and the ER from our property we are still here and going strong. Please pray for us as we continue to negotiate with a couple of banks to secure a mortgage and drive the stake through the enemies head once and for all.
On Friday night we will be sharing testimonies, worshiping to some of our ER favorites and thanking the Lord for what He has done. Pizza and soup and salad will be available after the service. On Saturday a long time ER partner, Solomon Kepkey, will be our guest speaker. He has seen us transform and shift and go through the hard times and has stuck by us through thick and thin. We are honored to have him with us as we celebrate. Service begins at 6:00 pm and dinner will be served at 5:00 pm.
We still have some avaialbe rooms at the ER if you would like to come and spend the night or even a couple of nights. They are hotel style rooms with the bathrooms and showers just a few feet away. First come first served so let me know if you would like to have one of the rooms.
God is doing great and amazing things and I am so thankful for all that He has allowed me to do. I have carried the Gospel and His word to some foreign countries and in many states in the US. Friday night we will be sharing the ER journey and where we will be heading in the next 25 years. I want to take this time to thank you all who have prayed for us, ministered to us and with us, sowed finances and materials and sowed your amazing hearts of love to us and those we reach. We could never have done it without you! It is my prayer that as long as Jesus tarries the ER will always be a lighthouse to those that need it and a safehouse to those in distress. May the fire on this altar never go out!
Blessings to you all, you have my prayers, hope to see you this weekend at the ER,
