HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARILYN GAZOWSKY!
From Timothy Snodgrass - 9/23/15
Since 1966, the church which Pastor Marilyn Gazowsky planted in the heart of San Francisco has seen more than 16,000 souls saved, baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit. The Voice of Pentecost (dba: A Place to Meet Jesus) is now pastored by Marilyn's son - Pastor Richard Gazowsky. This Sunday - as Marilyn prepares to celebrate her 93rd birthday at the church she founded during the Jesus Movement nearly 60 years ago - the doors of the church are at risk of forever being closed, whereas repossession proceedings have begun against the church (due to a $990,000 mortgage debt).
Marilyn Gazowsky was born on September 28, which this year coincides with the Feast of Tabernacles. On Sunday, September 27 (US Pacific Time), the Moon will become Blood at exactly 7:47 PM. I will be speaking at this special birthday service, in honor of Pastor Marilyn Gazowsky and her vision for revival in San Francisco. Now is the time to honor this woman of God, and ask God exactly how we can stand with her during this time of need. God is not looking for sacrifice - He is looking for obedience!
It is still not too late to stop the repossession of the church! If you are not able to join us on Sunday morning, please still consider sending a generous offering to the church address below. Pastor Richard and his family have been good friends of our family for many years - and now is the time to show them how much we love them as we celebrate Pastor Marilyn's 93rd birthday!
I look forward to seeing you at A Place to Meet Jesus at exactly 12:00 Noon on Sunday, September 27!
